cbrf: if you had read the aim+ website or its forums, you would have found that the last version was released in 2001 and has no support for AIM 5.x, thus, most of its features do not work. 4.8 is the last version that AIM+ works 100% with.
I suggest middle_man for a logger plus other neat features
5.5.3595 is what I am using. I didn’t copy and paste the lines, I only swapped out the 1002 and 1487 on the appropriate ones. Oh well, I’ll play with it, it’s not THAT big of a deal to me. Thanks man.
odd thing happened actually, the function of the blank area worked fine for what I switched it, only the icon wouldnt show and the “info” button next to it had some new function somehow, sometimes I could see a blank box flicker behind it. all I did was swap 1002 (mail) with 1487 (away), so I put it back to normal for now.

the functions finally swapped, I was unaware that the things were in 23 as well. the icons didnt swap but im going to keep playing with it, thanksok I found out what is what, but if I replace the line for the “Mail” with the line for the “Away”, it removes the right one (mail) but doesn’t replace it with any icon, just a space. Any tips?
thanks TigerBlade, but I tried looking in the dialoge (323 I think if I recall correctly) of the buddy list and I can’t seem to distinguish what bits of code are for which buttons.
and that other topis is about physically moving button, this one is about changing the function of one
