Finally sumthing that worked for me!!! i’ve been searching for weeks now but I finally found a solution to my error 1603 problem, I got this off of another forum, so im basically copy and pasting lol…neways here goes!!

I went to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details…&displaylang=en

As soon as the file was installed(I did not reboot), I tried re-installing Messenger Setup9x, and IT WORKED! It installed perfectly.
