I haven’t tested the “send to chat” function I made in rooms in a while though, but I’m sure it still works in PM’s.
If it doesn’t work in the rooms anymore let me know and I’ll update it (I don’t go to rooms anymore since Yahoo! stopped allowing custom rooms)
I don’t think it does, as I tried using it a few weeks ago and had the same result.
I think Brandon (UnSaKreD) is very busy right now with his personal life, hence not much being updated. I’ve only talked to him once on MySpace in like, 3 months, so yeah.
I’ll tell him we want an update though! 😀
Fake Status Maker has an “Instant Idle” option.
I don’t know about others, but Y!Amp can do that. It can send the message & song to chat rooms as well as IM’s automatically.
I agree with EggSalad, I’ve already spent so much on the PSP.
Plus, it seems like this Mylo thing should support AIM & MSN as well, because all of my real life friends use AIM, and so called IM fanatics would probably expect this thing to support almost all instant messengers.
Well, you could just put a space and then click “Set” and there’ll be no text. Problem is, it’ll show a dash (-) next to the ID. Still, better than nothing.
Ah, well I assumed people would type that manually if they wanted it :p
I updated the program so if you check a status and don’t put anything in the text box it just says “Error: you must enter some text”.
Unfortunately on the new Yahoo! Messenger 8, copying and pasting packets like that won’t work. They’ll just show up exactly how they’re put. This is because from what I can tell there’s now 2 different spots in the registry for the status to be saved, one for normal messages (and it filters out ASCII and other stuff), and another that allows ASCII such as those packets. The problem is, from what I can tell, you can’t select to use the second spot from Messenger to save a status. With my program Fake Status Maker, it puts an empty spot in the normal status area, and puts the packet code in the area that allows ASCII. :]

Now I can’t login and I’m being told that many other people can’t either (saying their profiles are deleted, under maintanence, etc.)
I can’t login, like, I’ll press Login, and it says invalid login, then eventually says too many failed login attempts and makes me put in a security code, which I do, and it’s still wrong.
My profile still exists though ’cause I just checked http://myspace.com/elitenick
