Suprgrl6969–are you sure you deleted MSN 6 fully ? Try going to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and see if MSN Messenger 6 is listed there.
And I know MSN 6 is already out but it’s only a preview, so maybe msn has it set that you can only preview msn 6 for a certain amount of time before it starts freezing and stuff and you have to delete it and wait for the full version. Just a theory ?
Yea maybe this is happening because we’re only allowed to “Preview” msn 6 for a certain amount of time before the new one comes out. I mean how long did it work for you guys before it started freezing ? For me it was about 3 weeks I think.
Anyways, I just deleted MSN 6 and got MSN 5 back and it works fine now. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the full version.:(
I’m having the same problem. I’ve been using MSN 6 without problems for about 3 weeks now and all of a sudden it started freezing on me yesterday when I tried to log-in. I’ve re-downloaded it 3 times now and I still have the same problem.
