FallenOne97Memberenable IM forwarding on the screen name that is signed on in another location, then sign on in 2 locations by default AIM will sign off at all other locations and leave your IM with the little “cell phone” next to your name, wait about a minute go in and disable IM forwarding then sign on and just like magic you will be signed on at only the location your at presently 🙂

FallenOne97Memberthis often happens when you are connected to a network LAN or a cable modem. since you are using a static IP address alot of people in your area could be signing on to AIM at the same time and it appears to the AIM server that they are all coming from the same location so in an attempt to slow things down they make you wait about 5-10 minutes to re sign on again. when i am up at school the same thing happens since we are using an intranet network there. hope i helped.
