MemberStealth Activity Recorder and Reporter for example is not detected by any anti-virus or anti-spyware program.
Better way to protect yourself against spying is to have only one administrator account on your operating system and only you should have its password. Now even if they have something installed on your PC they shouldnt be able to access the logs if they are made locally or if they are uploaded to a remote location or emailed to them then all you need to do is install a firewall and prevent all unkown programs from accessing the internet.
Though there are ways to get around this and still spy on you but I’m sure they won’t go that far.

MemberOh sorry missed that http proxy part. So yeah they wont show up on netstat since all connections are made to the proxy.
A google search might help you in configuring Gaim to use gtalk account on HTTP Proxy.
Hasan
MemberI think every orkut user has a google id but whether they use gtalk or not that you can’t be sure of.

MemberWilliamlee has my vote
Hasan
MemberDoesnt interest me much since I already have many accounts to look after but if everyone wants to switch over why should I have a problem though I do believe people will use their BBB address more less often than they currently do since now they’ll need to login to a seperate account to check it. I know noone is going to take out time to enable the email forwarding or even if people do whats the point in keeping a gmail id when you’re going to forward its mails to some other account? Waste of resources
Hasan
MemberSure williamlee feel free to use my post
I merely threw light on one of the many possible answers to the question but we can’t be sure. The reason for why I said its possible that they continue to live is due to listening to serveral personal experiences of people who have actually felt, communicated or seen dead people around them e.g RabidKitten and MrOats experiences.
If this theory is incorrent then the statement “souls retains” would be false and hence the statement “souls do not retain” would be true which implies that the statement “souls transform into some other form of energy” is true and hence the other possibility I mentioned. In that case it might turn into some other supernatural entity.Hasan
MemberYeah williamlee you got me right. My point is that the tree does make sound but there isnt anyone to hear it since sound’s definition does not require a sensor to be present as its a wave produced in the air irrespective of if there is anything to interpret that wave or not.
For the spirits part I have a bit more to add:-
According to a scientific theory energy can not be created or destroyed.
If after death our body is decomposed into earth then our soul must also transform into some other form of energy or perhaps retains its form without the body? For me soul is what differentiates a living body from the dead one. Its something which is when taken away from a living body, it no more remains alive. But where does that soul go when the person dies? Its clearly “something” but since it has no scientific explanation hence we do not know where does it go.
Its possible that dead people continue to live normally the only difference is that they no longer have their bodies and so they are free of the phyiscal constraints and dimensions of our space.
Our minds should be open to possibilities since there can not be concrete proof of inexistence of anything.

MemberPossible? Yes
Tools? I dont knowExcuse me for advertising but I’d code a script of Gilly Messenger to do that or if I wanted it done on MSN I’d write a tiny app.
Give http://www.mess.be a try; you might find something usefull in its msn tools and utilities download section.

MemberThumbs up for Tigerblade.
Dude after reading the thread question I quickly cooked up the answer that every entity supernatural to us might reside in another dimension but as I scrolled down I saw you explain it very nicely.
I guess I’ll get my hands on the book ‘Flatland’My idea is that we can only declare existance of something if we perceive it through any of our 5 senses (which can be faked as well) but we are in no position to declare absense of anything merely because we do not sense it.
Say I have a wall infront of me and someone is standing behind it. Just because I can not see the other person by my eyes it doesnt mean that the other person does not “exist”. Its failure of my sense of sight that I’m unable to see the other person because of an obstacle between us however if that person was infront of the wall I could have very well declared the presence of the person since (in case of no mental disorder) we do not see things that are not presenet in our sight. Its possible however to trick the person into not seeing something even if its in range of sensess (Camouflage).
Thats just my theory. Btw I believe in God, angels, devil and ghosts.

MemberI dont have much contacts on gt either but then i dont even have many contacts on msn.
When I started a research group i asked everyone to stay intouch with gt.
I think people have just as much participation in making a program popular as the software vendor (advertisements)
Everyone has a gmail account these days all you have to do is ask them to download gtalk.Hasan
MemberVery nicely done indeed.
The display pictures shiped with it are nice as well.
Chat themes are pretty cool too.I kinda like everything Google does.
