I know how to do it for AOL only. I’m still trying to figure it out for you AIM user. Somebody else said this also and it works. Go to PREFRENCES and then click on ALERTS AND REMINDERS and in the corner it should have a box that has your cell phone # and next to it, it should say ‘EDIT’ and ‘DELETE’. Click Delete. It takes about 24 hours to work though. But after that you shouldn’t get any more text messages. It worked for me. It should work for you too. If it doesn’t work for any reason, call AOL.
I signed up for that stupid IM forwarding thing and I can’t get rid of it! I’ve searched through this forum on this topic and looked at all the suggestions that people have given. None of them have worked. Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of it forever? It’s really annnoying. It keeps ringing whenever someone IM’s me and the stupid mobile device is my icon. The mobile device icon is never on when I’m online. It’s always when I’m offline. Does anyone know a way to get rid of this? I need serious help with this! [/font=Comic Sans MS]
