MemberThat’s how it is starting to seem, eh? I sent the email to the AIMsupport nearly 48 hours ago, with no response. the article from PCMag.com mentioned that he did the age verification.. Guess what though..? I don’t have a credit card! Not that i’d give them my credit card number if I did have one. If they can’t even keep the AGES in their database straight (as the pcmag.com guy mentioned as a possibility), what leads me to think they they can keep from randomly IMing people my credit card number. I like to believe that I can trust people, but in this case.. I don’t!
Well, there’s my rant.. And likealways, if anyone actually makes any progress, be sure to let us know. Thanks!

MemberThat’s true, but that’s not the problem here. Most people that had their accounts suspended over the past couple days use AIM daily, or at least weekly. I have yet to get a reply from the AIMSupport email address. It’s been nearly 24 hours since I sent the email, and i’m sure they are not bogged up with emails that bad, especially considering that the address is not posted on the website, and I got lucky and a guy on the AOL Livehelp gave it to me. I guess it’s just the waiting game now….
*Taps fingers pantiently*

MemberSome progress may have finally been made, I used the AOL Livehelp, and I got an actual AIM Support email address… AIMSupport@aol.com – Sending an email as we speak…
I will post any info I get…

MemberI’m glad to see so many replies, and glad to see that other people have made an effort to find the problems as well. I also had an AOL account before, but with a seperate screen name. Maybe there is some correlation between this… Maybe the name on the account? Maybe the address?
This brings up a new question… Is there anyone with the same problem that has not used AOL in the past? It seems like an unlikely explanation, but anything is possible.
