urm, care to elaborate..I believe my information is correct…it blocks all contacts that you haven’t authorised, on your list or not, from contacting you. Isn’t that what intoblue wanted to do? = If not, my mistake, sorry.
It is possible. Go to your MSN Messenger conatct list, go to the tools menu, then options.
Then go to the Privacy tab, select All other users and click block.Anyone who isn’t on your contact list will not be able to talk to you unless you unblock them or unless someone else in the conversation when they invite you to a conversation.
Downgrade your NVidia video card from version 5x to 3x, it seems that it has compatibility issues with MSN Messenger.
Yea, I know, but the person wanted to port over contacts from one account to another for which Polygamy isn’t necessary.
urm..just save your contact list (export) then import it to your other account.
This doesn’t require Polygamy as the contact list is saved locally and can be accessed and imported by anyone using your computer.
Edit: To do so go to your main MSN Messenger window (aka Contact List) then click on Contacts >> Save Contact List…
and to Import go to your main MSN Messenger window, click on Contacts >> Import contacts from a saved file…
I believe it does do that..but how does that make it spyware? Just because its “classified” as spyware, does not mean it is spyware. Seriously…he creates patches..what makes you think he cares about what you search for..or where you go on the internet?

Actually it is, install one version (say MSN Messenger 4), rename the folder.
Install MSN Messenger 6.
Rename the MSN Messenger 4 folder to whatever you want or the default name.

Go to Start
Then run
Then type regedit.
Navigate to the following key
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{F3A614DC-ABE0-11d2-A441-00C04F795683}LocalServer32]

search [ctrl+f] for F3A614DC in the registry and it will automatically take you there.Right Click this key LocalServer32.
Then Delete.
