MemberUmm what?! What does this have to do with the license agreement? I just want to know if I need the Windows XP startup disk when booting in safemode on a new hardware so the new drivers can be installed for the new motherboard.
This isn’t illegal…are you misunderstanding me?! Please I need to know this!

MemberUmm…
No I meant for moving my current Windows XP operating system on my current HDD onto the new hardware’s primary HDD slot and booting into safe mode to install drivers so I can just continue on new hardware with the same software without re-installing anything…will I need the installation disk for that?

MemberMmm I could do that if I wasn’t so terrified and paranoid of something going wrong. I have anxiety problems, just seeing weird screens on my comp.
So Wolverine basically just boot into safe mode and it automatically installs all the drivers?

MemberWell if Philip’s right, and I trust a staff member, then I’ll just go for getting a whole new OS with it and just installing my old hard drive as secondary and not booting from there, then re-install everything…
*sigh* Oh well.

Quite proud of my desktop.

MemberWell I solved the problem myself and with the help of other friends turns out because of my inexperience I didn’t put the RAM chip in far enough. I was paranoid and afraid to jam it in further out of fear of breaking it. I finally did it now and both chips are in and working and my RAM is tripled. Thanks for the help!

MemberNo and she doesn’t know much about comps it’d be hard to.
Kacen
MemberI’ll try that when I figure out how to.
Also I have no other sticks of RAM and I have 512 KB of RAM.

MemberEarlier I had the same issue and had to restart, and just a few minutes ago it happened instantly, just it started using so much CPU it had to restart, although perhaps my comp just froze as it happened instantly. I don’t know.
*sighs* I can’t reformat my comp I just don’t have the resources. I have a website to administrate I can’t have my comp go down the drain.

MemberYou know I made my virtual memory really large not to long ago maybe that was the problem…so I set it to System Managed Size and restarted my comp. Lets see if that fixes it.

I deleted all my temp files to see if that helps, also I’m going to delete my temporary internet files.
Kacen
