ok just thought someone might see or understand the problem its obviously not just yahoo its affecting msn as well . i had msn messenger and could log on downloaded live messenger then couldn,t log on

dont know if this will help , downloaded msn messenger , its telling me my gateway appears to be offline giving me a code 80072efdthanks for your help dermot , and out of interest would that mean everyone on talktalk broadband would have the same problem ?
managed to install (thats a start) now it will not let me login tried all the settings , when i try to log in with no proxies it says cant connect , when i try to log in behind a firewall no proxies it just comes back to the sign in screen , thankyou very much for trying
just to give you an update , still no luck , when i try to sign on it says i need to connect to the internet , and i am connected so there is obviously something wrong with my pc , looks like it my be a trip to the repairers

was not even on , and yahoo messenger was not listed
you will be beginning to wish i had never posted ha hathankyou yeh i can login using meebo thanks but am still puzzled to why
i cant log in the normal way , the message is we were unable to sign you into yahoo please make sure you are online then try again , im logged on so dont understand , sorry but i am not very pc literate and i am not even sure how i would turn off firewall or even if i have a firewall ? thankyou for your help
