just run the installer and then the connection manager….. it lets you select add…. then decide what to add.. i am up to 5 yahoo, 2 icq, 1 aim, and 1 msn on mine….just click on connection manager…. and click add…. ( or file, connection manager then add)
its very good about importing names and settings……. and if you do not like how something is set… again, just click on connection manager and then select a messenger tool. then select preferences and change the setting….. ( like auto connect on start up…)

then select aim… enter username and pass… and it will import it just fine……
i just tried it here myself…. it worked this am…. but now… all i see is a nice grey screen and no buddies. pm button doesnt work , the menu does not work….. GRRRR they are doing something looks like…. but i maybe wrong…. anyone else?
ps. what firewall? at work or school? i honestly have no idea how ot get around that other than contacting the sys admin and asking for permission to be granted…..
pradeepsrec are you trying the beta web messenger? or the older version?

also. maybe they are messing it up. i mean working on it 🙂 try clearing cache and cookies and try again too…..indy i dont think so… the friend_toolbar.bmp is 192×135 pixels… and doesnt resize as far as i know..
its pretty standardized. but that mini messy would be so cool!

but like marietta said… yahoo glitch…. its one of the weird ones that cant be pinned down.i think the on messenger indicator and the Messenger link on the on yahoo section on left of a profile shows by default…… if it says Add to friends list. then on messenger…. you can see…
but leviathan… there is an invite tool on yahoo messenger….
under tools. select manage friends list, then add invite a friend to sign up.. all the way at the bottom of the menu tab……

what kind of sound card.. full duplex? half duplex? i see this many times with folks who do not have a full duplex card….
also, check and see if kazza is in start up.. ( click start, then run, type msconfig , then go to start up tab and uncheck kazaa if its there… then click apply. will tell you its reboot time.. ) if so remove it. it might have taken over audio properties.. much like real player does.
another possibility? you may just need a soundcard driver update.
usually at win updates or check the manufact. site.need to see what soundcard is. possible drivers/ updates missing.. try belarc advisor… find it on Google.com

i just want the invites all off.. i HATE getting the cam and conferance invites from the weirdos…. have set to friends only.. but that doesnt stop cam or voice invites.. grrrrrboth would be welcome additions….

you can TRY the XORmessage Test program from andys site… i dont have url…. anyone? says it can read stored ims… dunno havent tested it yet…. but you should see it find if you open id in messenger and then click on message archive….repeats. should…
