the way that we can find him/her ..is ip address….
u can find her/his ip easily here…
startruncommand then c:windowsdesktop> netstat
find her/his ip then PING it…
if thier ip`s are same so its understood that they are one not two persons……:cool:hmmmmmm our main server also using win98….administrator says it problem with socks proxy….
i dont have router……..ahhh about firwalls.2 monthes ago i installed NORTHAN INTIVIRUS for protection purpose..but i uninstall it again and remove from my pc….
now i`m sure its problem with main server ..not mine….

can u tell how to know and find it?:eek:i have same problem..now i can check my mails but can`t open my messenger…………its says FORGOTTEN PASSWORD..:(i dont know y ..i replied to yahoo support …but still i can`t open messenger and chat with my friends………….:(………
BUT…i use YAHOO GAMES…when u entered into yahoo games..for example POOL GAME ….so ur contact friends see u ONLINE…as soon as possible they will send u messege….by this way u can chat….

huhhhh..i got ur answer…i think u have done some changes in ur settings….. TOOLS/OPTION/PRIVACY/ click ON the chekc box (Alert me when others add me in to thier contact list”..when u make some changes in ur privacy then ur contact list automaticly removed…
dont make changes in ur privacy box….got it ??:phi OBSERVER ..dont worry…its easy to understand…when server got bz or not working..( i mean sever is not working properly..) then ur file saves in temprery folder in yahoo main server….but ur file wil send completly well…….
