I noticed it when I went to view my own profile, it makes the actual profile appear as an away message, and the link as the profile… Still trying to figure out how to get rid of it.EDIT: and now it’s suddenly gone. I didn’t change a thing, perhaps it’s some kind of AIM system error?

Aim Ad Remover 5.9?? They’re still making programs to get rid of the ads? Man, I thought ResHack would have taken care of that by now.
I had that happen to me when I went from one of the newer versions of AIM to a previous one. So if any of you have maybe tried out a newer one and not liked the cluttered look of it and went back? Maybe that could be the problem?
I’ve had that problem too when I used to use Netscape. I forget what I used to do to get that message, but eventually I just realized how much Netscape sucks and stopped using it anyway.
Hmm, that’s odd. Do you have more than one Screen name and have them linked together.. This probably isn’t what’s happening but if you have your screen names linked and go away it sets all the away messages up and looks like they’re all joined together.

I found quite a few annoying features with the new Beta. The two additional pop ups that appear everytime you start AIM and the little thing at the bottom of the buddy list. I used reshack on it a bit and got rid of all the ads and the thing at the bottom but as in the other AIM I tried to reshack I still can’t figure out how to get rid of that annoying empty space.
