MemberThanks………..problem solved for now……

MemberSomeone else may know otherwise, but I don’t think there is a way to tell, unless someone is keeping tabs of each one to see if they are coming online and offline at the same time. Of course, if they are in a position to be able to see the IP address……then yes, they could…but through normal messenger workings, I think not.

MemberOK…..I’ve narrowed it down to this. There is something in the relationship between my AT&T Broadband connection and Yahoo. It is not my firewall….I can get online member results at other computers…I can’t get online returns when another computer is hooked to my AT&T connection. I found someone in Texas who is having the same problem, but he has a cable connection through a local provider there. I feel that it is something with Yahoo relating to the AT&T server I’m coming off of. Any thoughts?

MemberThere is no exact way, but if you keep tabs on each name to see if they are always online at the same time, that is one way. If they don’t show up as online on your Messenger, you can go to the profile and if they are just invisible it will still show that they are online on their profile page unless they have chosen to not have anyone see them online through profile edit.

MemberWhat exactly are you asking? Are you just asking if anyone else has 6 or are you asking how to not have them all come online?

MemberThe Yahoo Member Directory is where this is happening. The advance search in the member directory is where you can choose to only see returns of those who are online. Any ideas on that?
Thanks
