I had the same problem with not receiving offlines as well as my yahoo often crashing and reopening all by itself…i deleted my id..then immediately picked it up again..using two windows to be sure of minimum lag time..this fixed my offline problem..and has greatly reduced my yahoo crashing..its pretty drastic..coz u have to add ur contacts again(though all my old contacts could still see me)…but im now glad i did it..

I had similar problems..tryed uninstalling etc..i also didnt get offlines..i deleted user id and instantly signed up for the same id..had both windows open..for fear of loosing my favourite id name..now i have no problems at all…well so far..maybe its worth a shot?? Only problem is re adding ur contacts..but worth it to be rid of the other hassslesWell just wanted to let u guys know..i reopened my id..and i now get offlines…and can be online and send messages etc without yahoo crashing on me!! so far problem solved!! lets hope it stays that way!..oh incase anyone wants to know…i just signed up for new id…when it was completely filled out bar the user id…i deleted old id and instantly signed up with the same id..wella!! all smile here now!:D
Well i’ve tryed to uninstall and reinstall to no avail..i also have the problem(i’ve seen listed here) of my yahoo closing as soon as i send a message and open with a second or 2 again..this is worse when im actually visible(i dont know anything about window blinds etc..im a pc dummy:p)..when i use another id i have no such problem..it only happens with the one id..i would just give up that id but i have a few attatched to it and like the name..thought maybe i should delete the id and try picking it up again within seconds..what do you think?
