There ya go http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/msg/8/old_sounds.exe
A window opens, asking if you want to Run or Save this file? Click Save.
Another window opens. Where would you like to save the file? Make it easy – just save the file to your desktop. (“Desktop” should already appear at the top of the window, after “Save in:”. See it?) In the lower right, click Save again – and watch as the download proceeds.
When it’s complete, double-click old_sounds.exe on your desktop.
Another window opens! Yay! This time, click Run.
Surprise – another window! In this one, you need to do two things:
1. Verify the “Unzip to folder” information. It’s where the sound files are going.
The folder should be “C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengerMedia”.
Make sure “Overwrite files without prompting” is checked.2. Click Unzip to put the files in your Yahoo! Messenger media folder.
Click OK in the notification window telling you that “21 file(s) unzipped successfully”.
Click Close to close the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
The old sounds are back in your system! It’s now safe to move the old_sounds.exe file on your desktop into the Recycle Bin.
Now it’s time to reselect the old sound files. Here’s how:
1. Open Yahoo! Messenger.
2. Click the “Messenger” menu and select “Preferences.”
3. Click the “Alerts & Sounds” category.
4. Make sure there is a check in the box beside “Playing a sound”.
5. Select an alert from the list. To hear the sound that’s currently playing, press the arrow after “Playing a sound”. That’s the ‘play’ button! If you like what you hear, just leave it. If you want a different sound, click Browse.
6. A window opens with all your different sound choices, listed as .wav files. Choose one, and click Open.7. Back in the “Alerts & Sounds” window, click ▶ – the ‘play’ button – to hear the sound. Is it the one you want? If not, click Browse again to try another. And when you’ve got the right sound, move on to the next “Alert me when:” sound in the Alerts & Sounds list, repeating this process until, for each action, you’re hearing the sound you like best.
8.When you’re done, click OK at the bottom of the window.

One key per PC, that’s the rule. If the key is found out to have been used on more than one PC, the key is then disabled/banned.
Ok say i use the key on the pc im currently usein now but later im usein a different pc like in the other room but im not on this pc at the time then can u still use it on a different computer as long as its not on 2 different pcs at the same time with out breaking the rule? And if that is soo what if your not on the pc that u originally purchased the key on and used it and activated it on but you were over a friends or vacation or something but its not in use on the original pc can you then just install it and use the key on a different pc or do you need to by an extra?
rickjames5000MemberVC Sync – “Bringing the order back to Yahoo! Voice Chat!” this seems like a great product im tired of bein lagged in the room when i step away from the computer wit VC on and come back and my screen is frozen then wait a few min to disable the voice to stop the lagg. i would like to try this and test it do i qualify for the key? And i was wandering if ytkpro has this feature in it to stop the lag .
rickjames5000MemberI was thinkin of buying.. Can you use this key on more than 1 pc or will it get deactivated and if you reformatt will the key still work or do you got to send an email to the staff to get it reactivated ?

I deleted over 500 of the files. Blah. Why am I not surprised at Yahoo for this one? Indeed codneim, Yahoo doesn’t fix their major bugs, nor do they care…
They dont care or they would of fixed chat login to join the rooms already

Well, it was only a matter of time since they dropped v6.0 support. My guess is they’re trying to get a widespread audience to use the Yahoo + WLM interop.
Yeah i think so too
rickjames5000MemberYou know when the chat server is going to be fixed to get in the rooms easier

I am finding that sometimes I type a message to a contact, it doesn’t “bounce” but she just doesn’t see it at her end. Is this a known problem and is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks

I just found out that Spleak (a chatbot which thinks it’s human) has been made available on AIM. It’s sort of like SmarterChild but seems to be much more sophisticated… and pretty much as stupid as SC 😉
The bot’s buddyname is “spleak” and it’s actually kinda fun
Yeah smarter child is funny. do u know how to bring bots in room on aim CHAT ?
