This seems more like a comptuer problem than a AIM problem, if it was just a AIM file then i could tell you something, but it sounds like its your computer.

Yeah, try going on anotehr screen name and see if that still happends, if it doesnt, then its your original screen name, if not then its your aim try gettign a older version of aim

Yeah there has been problems with that for awhile, my friend has hte same problem, AIM 5.1 is i think hte most unstable version of AIM out there, plus you are using DSL, i use ROAD RUNNER, and there has been problems with DSL dis/reconnecting alot, if i were you i would up grade to 5.5 then keep dead aim, and if it still is happening, then its dead AIM.

Are you guys using the same AIM version? If it doesnt work then you can try reinstalling AIM.

There are alot of hacking programs/hash/trojans outerher that let you do that, i dont know any of them because im not a hacker, but sorry to say, hes using something really good, run a virus scanner or just get another screen name.

They might have there setting so only there buddies can see them online, or they might be playing a joke with you

Reinstall AIM, if that doesnt work then its firefox.

Yeah it does look suspicious, i dont know why they did that, it may be a fake or someone is just messing around with us, but yeah thats not right
