It sounds like your number lock is on. Try hitting the ‘num lock’ button on your keyboard. That should help it.

Oh yea, and it’s not so much static, as it will be working fine for about five minutes, and then all of a sudden it just starts sending random loud static-like noises to the other person. It does this when i try to take videos of anything too. Its almost like the microphone just stops working and experiences interference or something.
My roommate is having the same problem. Is it something that AOL is doing? She says that all of her other AIM screen names work, and usually she has them all linked, and it’s not even linking her main screen name. Any news on how to fix this?
When you sign on to that screen name on regular AIM there should be a “mobile contacts” list which you should be able to edit. Those are the names of the contacts that will appear on your phone when you sign in. Just make sure you dont delete the list because it’ll reset next time you log in on your phone.
hmm thanks…i might try that. but I also just noticed that it is only with one of my screen names. I think thats very weird that its not a global problem, yet it happens on the same screen name on two of my computers.
yea when someone sends you the smiley, save the convo and then open it up in notepad and the html markup for the smiley should be right there

but now the deadaim forums are down…so we cant see anything on new information, but on the good side no one can complain about deadaim not being out. but i wanted to point out…how do we know that steve isnt lying? idk, ever since Jim went AWOL i kind of dont trust him that much…
