You’re the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean — not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

I don’t use ICQ or AIM so not sure how you’re able to ‘dock’ them on your screen, but if you go into preferences/general and choose ‘keep on top of other applications’ would that serve the same purpose?
NC14 – how are you connected to the Internet at work? If it’s a Local Area Network go to your Internet Options, Connections and see what proxy they have listed. You can always plug in that info or a kinda weird solution is to try and reset your connection settings on YM everytime you try to log on. If I can’t connect I’ll just reset the proxy and it always seems to work for me.

I’m assuming you took the guys advice and changed your colors because today it was totally legible and easy to read. Not a bad start at all! Kept me occupied while sitting here bored at work :p
Hiya Khizz.. my messenger seems to be working fine so far this morning. Sorry to hear your having problems. Maybe just shut down and try later. I know how annoying sitting there staring at the problem can be.
I’d much rather see all CAPS than someone using slang all the time. Cuz to b4 real its hard to read for us simple folk.
Any chance someone signed onto your account and changed things? In your appearance preferences do you have ‘Always show ID of friends’ clicked or the use nicknames? I have no idea what other advice to give ya…maybe it’s a quirk or maybe someone will have other suggestions.

Have you tried uninstalling your yahoo? If you are getting the same error message by clicking on the Talk button as well as your space bar, then I’d uninstall, delete all temp files off your pc, and reinstall. See if that works.
You cannot add new categories. You’re pretty much stuck with the options they show you. You can however post up to three links to anything you want and post that kind of information in the space they provide you. If you want to list long top ten lists, etc, my advice would be to create a page and post the link. Just update your page periodically with what you want.
