I’ll say it one last time:
Uninstall WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 2.
twistedmetalMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by JadedgreeneyesDavid,
Did you bother reading any of my post at all? Yes, I have uninstalled it like I posted previously . Secondly, IN my post I said this “We have Nortons Anti-virus that came with both computers. We also have a linksys router with a built in firewall. All of these were running Along with My Nortons Internet Security 2004 . I guess I could delete the NIS2004[/b] and just use the built in Nortons anti-virus with the firewall in the router instead of NIS2004[/b] if I have to . But it still has me baffled on the visual C++ Library error and script error.[/b] With Sp 1 .” Nothing conflicted. So why would you have to ” assume “ anything ? Its all in my posts what I have.
I beg to differ with you dave if you had read my post you’d see I said NIS2004 meaning Nortons Internet Security2004 and if you had taken a look at the links you’d see I am NOT making this up these are actual errors I’ve gotten. Since you say there isn’t any such thing leads me to believe you have not looked at the links.
Anyone else have something HELPFUL or useful that might solve this problem?
Maybe you should learn to read before you tell others to? he said remove windows XP SERVICE PACK 2, not NIS.
twistedmetalMemberUm, I hate to say this, but I’ve been reading your posts for the past several months, and this needs to come out. I don’t want to call you a moron or anything, but you really need to stop acting like you are a 12 year old.
Nobody here can read and fully understand your posts. You clearly understand the English language, but yet you refuse to not add ‘??????’ and ‘!!!!!!!’ to everything that needs emphasis. There is no reason for this, and it only makes you look like some sort of jackass. I won’t even get into the use of stupid thing like @=at (you still have to press the friken shift key!) and 4 = for. Please cut that crap out.
As for your question, I can’t answer it, because you provided almost no useful and understandable information. I really doubt that anyone else here can read this poor excuse for a topic.
I’m sorry to be rude, but you drive me crazy.
twistedmetalMemberbebekari: Please create posts that have some thought put into them, because you are not understandable.
twistedmetalMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by WhiteMateriaQuote:quote:I’m not sure about you, but I think if she unplugs her modem, she won’t be able to reply? Well I noticed this thread is just an extension of a thread in the AIM forum. I think TheseOceanSkys should stick to just one thread so everyone reading a single thread can get the most information to helpNo this actually makes sense! Copy and print out the logs of him stalking then unplug the modem so that he really cannot do anything to her computer. If this is all a hoax then so be it… the information was useless and she is getting a good laugh. If this is for real then then there is a good chance this stalker is doing it to other people and it definently needs to stop. I did what I did because it was the right thing to do. She can reply to it when the police/FBI have taken care of it and its over with. So what!

Global ModeratorQuote:quote:Agreed, please use the original thread to respond to this problem – I have a stalker.I stronly disagree with you here shifter… Give the girl some breathing room for today – If this were all true and she does really have a stalker who is threatening her then retaining to the same post is the last thing on her mind. In fact it was nessecary to create a NEW posting so that she could get immidiate help for when she posted it was 11 PM and the time of the threat to take place was 3 PM. Some females in that position would truely panic and I took that into consideration. This is the very thing we as netizens might be called upon to do again someday so please be aware of it. It won’t be the last time some a$$ threatens a young lady online with this form of mental abuse.
Why?
Although this sounds sexist it is the truth and I mean no disrespect… If these females are not smart enough to simply unplug the modem then they shouldn’t have the right to use the computer. They don’t have the right to be foolish and waste others time like that. The modem link is generally the only link to the outside world, it’s not like that is a hard concept, if she cannot understand this, then she should not use a computer.
Now…she then went and made another thread, that does nothing but confuse everyone else because there are now TWO places to post an answer to her problem. The moderator locked the topic and linked back to this one, what is wrong with that? It wasn’t deleted and anyone that wanted to reply could have done so in this thread.
twistedmetalMemberPlease Fereshteh, this is not an AOL chat room, if you want fast help, take the time to create a somewhat intelligent question and provide the proper information, if you cannot do that, you don’t deserve help.
You are not computer-illiterate, you are completely illiterate.
twistedmetalMemberDude 912, seriously, are you a complete idiot? I know I’m rude, but holy crap, READ THE THREAD!
twistedmetalMemberDude, reality check, Microsoft/MSN doesn’t have to add any this for you.
Be grateful that they update and provide MSN free of charge for all of you!
And uh, if you were the ‘creator’ (I’ll assume you mean programmer), of MSN Messenger, you wouldn’t be ashamed of your software (That hundreds of thousands of people use every day).
JeezChrist! Kids are ungrateful today!
twistedmetalMemberyep it’s a no.
twistedmetalMemberYou cannot use custom emoticons in your display name.
twistedmetalMemberOh look, it’s another loser who has come to visit bigblueball.
twistedmetalMemberOf course not, AOL doesn’t even know when the AIM network is down.
twistedmetalMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by alana0601well I find it fun and its not like I do it every night. anyway..thanks for answering my question and not critisizing me?
Maybe what you find ‘fun’ pissed off a lot of other users? Maybe it pissed enough people off that AOL was forced to make a change in the protocol and connection servers?
Maybe some people that have you on their list are ‘working’ (omygosh), and maybe they don’t want to deal with that? I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone could want to be that immature. ‘hahaha I can sign in and out a lot, hahahaha’. But maybe all your 12 year old AOL friends do that too?
I don’t know dude, but I think you deserve the criticism (sorry).
twistedmetalMemberWow… a total of 7 replies for IE6/FF0.8… end the madness. The beta testers for these browsers have obliviously been chosen. The man said he needs testers on Macs, so speak up!

I Have the v6.1 02.07 … but now the MSN messenger, are asking to update…by the way, is not exist, have I to update the normal -msn 6.1
You dont have to update it, but Microsoft wants you too. It’s security update, so downloading it wouldn’t hurt.
