MemberIt’s still Jdennis’s software and his company so AOL has no ground to sue because they have no legal ownership of the company or software.
If I were Jdennis’s lawer I would suggest he didn’t sue illigal users because he would not be able to make any money, the cost of the case and the lawer would be more than he would get from the person even if he did win.Wet Dog500

MemberI have noticed that on some sites like buddy profile sites there is a code they use to find the person’s name the person used to get a AIM screen name. That could have some link to how he got it but thats all i know and i havent seen anything on this forum about getting a person real name from AIM so it may not be true.
Example:
titanium.subprofile.com/v.php?id=85041&(your first name you entered into AIM)=(your sn)Why dont you just ask him how he did it?

MemberWill you ever remove any of the sticky topics. They have been there a long time and are getting out of date. In a a few months the whole first page of the site will be devoted to sticky topics if you dont since the sticky topics have only been around for a few months.

MemberIs there a way to get AIM (or create anouther program) to sign on to 2 screen names and use both there 200 buddies in one buddy list to create a virtual “400 buddy”, buddy list but still have AIM only use one screen name to send messages?
CobraR13- there is no way to increase the amount of buddies in the buddy list. There was once a time where you could edit the registry but now the aim server blocks more than 200 buddies (or around that number).

MemberIf i am understanding you correctly you dont turn off simple file sharing you just enable the security tab. I cant remember if you can enable it on XP Home but I am almost sure you can.
To inable it:
Go to “My Computer”
Click “Tools”
Select “Folder Options…”
Click the “View” tab
Scroll to the bottom of the “Advanced Setting” section
Unclick “Use Simple File Sharing”
Click “OK”Please tell me if this dosent work.

MemberThanks DJHyperbyte i should have been more specific. But you are wrong you must not remove “Everyone” afterwards, you must just reset the security settings to what it says in the directions.
Wet Dog500
MemberYou didnt check that the “Edit DeadAIM options” was in the “My AIM” menu.
Just go back and change the security settings back to allow all. Then enter the serial and redo the fix.
