Memberok, I got it to work, but…………….i had to turn my internet firewall OFF, will ZoneAlarm get in the way of running this program, or do I leave it off too while I use BuddySpy??

Participantphatredtiger, right click the link, select “save target as”, save BuddySpy1a.zip somewhere on your machine and unzip it.

Participantlaceyjan, use program control in ZoneAlarm and allow it to access internet, it appears in ZoneAlarm as “Spy on Friends”.

Member1.) eagle, The problem is with the tree view control and indexing.
I believe that problem is fixed now.

Redownload that, and let me know.2.) jan, yes zonealarm will get in the way, you have to add buddy spy to the allowed applications in order for it to communicate with the servers.
Thanks.

ParticipantUnSaKreD, multiple ID scan, I double click the folder icons as soon as they appear, got the scan result fine but as soon as the scan is completed I got that same error 35601 element not found.

MemberI am having the same problem, with the multiple id scan I get the error, 35601 element not found. then spybuddy crashes.

Participant-It seems to me error 35601 is due to missing status info from yahoo server when scan per example for online + webcam and the return status info only shows online but no webcam or webcam status comes with long delay.
-when repeat the scan and users status changes from online to offline, the change is shown in users information window.
-when repeat the scan and users status changes from offline to online, the change is not shown. It needs to clear the users information window and re-scan in order to have the correct status shown.
-current available options on the ID list are “Add” “Save” and “Load”, suggest to add “Remove” so in some way the list can be edited.September 27, 2004 at 9:30 am #71787aneagle
ParticipantAllien22, go back to the first page, 15th post and there’s the link to solve the mscomctl.ocx problem.

Added remove, on the user list.
Hopefully fixed the element not found portion.
If not, let me know (obviously)
I still have yet been able to recreate the error :
Even after following the steps. But thank you for giving me some good feedback and bug report.
Keep it coming.
current build is 1.0.17
To check current build open buddy spy, click help then click about.

Participant1.0.17 is not there yet, I just downloaded and still see 1.0.16. The element not found may be ignored because in some cases the return packet is lost, or you can popup a warning without crashing the program. On the 1.0.16 transition webcam on to off and off to on is shown correctly, only the offline to online is not. I didn’t try the chat room check because I never go to the chat room.
