As long as your running trillain your computer will not freeze from bootings and bombs, you will see the tezt but thats about it, as I said turn off the sound and watch them make a fool out of them selves. Or just simply block the after that… then u can use yahoo! again… with out worries of them!

June 30, 2002 at 6:20 am #102176detn8rParticipantHas anyone here used Dave’s codes??
Quote:quote:<<,<a,<con,<htm,<java,<snd,<soundI got a hell of alot of << kinda msgs when trillain revealed what the codes were when I was supposed to be getting booted. I think I will add them anyway!!

HEY JEFF, I GOT NEWS FOR YA. YOUR CODES DONT WORK!!![/b]Actually, they DO work, but they may not prevent EVERY possible booter technique. That’s why Dave added his… there are probably others. If you know of any, put them here.
Quote:quote:The best bet from how to stop others from booting you is to run trillain… just turn off the sound… you MAY get some lag… but just block and delete em!Trillian will do the job, but of course it doesn’t have all the bells-and-whistles of Yahoo (no voice; no webcam). Likewise, the java chat client is pretty much unbootable, too.

June 30, 2002 at 3:25 pm #102182DaveMemberHey chewy…I have added that text to my filter and it works very well. Here is a filter that I like to use:
<snd, <alt, <url=, <font, <fade, <a, , <body, <iframe, <frame, src=, <img, , url(, onLoad=,http://, www, <embed, <snd=, , , , url=, cjb, <<, <<a, <con, <htm, <java, , javascript,<sound, <html, http://www.aaaaaa, http://www.bbbbbb, http://www.cccccc, http://www.dddddd, http://www.eeeeee, http://www.ffffff,www.gggggg, http://www.hhhhhh, http://www.iiiiii, http://www.jjjjjj, http://www.kkkkkk, http://www.llllll, http://www.mmmmmm, http://www.nnnnnn,www.oooooo, http://www.pppppp, http://www.qqqqqq, http://www.rrrrrr, http://www.ssssss, http://www.tttttt, http://www.uuuuuu,www.vvvvvv, http://www.wwwwww, http://www.xxxxxx, http://www.yyyyyy, http://www.zzzzzz, http://www.___, http://www.red_____, ___ , net, <htm=, , xxxxxxx, xxxxx, xxxx, xxxxxxxx, xxxxxx, , <woink, url, <url
It appears that the forum underlines anything with www in it so please ignore all the underlining.
Unfortunately the filter does not appear to work in IM’s. I have solved this problem by changing my privacy settings (Login>privacy) so that I “ignore all users not on my Friend list”.
I have never been booted by code or any of the booters that seem to be freely available for download using these settings. However I am still affected by the “you cannot have more than three conferences at the same time” bomb.
I think this problem can only be solved once Yahoo! allow us to ignore any conference invitations from people not on our friends list or if they allow us to disable conferencing. Possibly we could edit one of the files in the Messenger folder to fix this?

June 30, 2002 at 4:15 pm #102175detn8rParticipantIve actually only been booted in IM thru Yahoo Messenger. Never thru PM in chat. This (these) booters I had in encounter with last night used hell, every booter program they could find under the moon…
Alot of times it looked like this:
*****************
*****************
*****************
*****************
****:)*****:)***
****:)*****:)***
****:)*****:)***
****:)*****:)***
*****************
*****************Or a really stupid flood thing, where they kept entering something like them wanting to add me to a convo or something… i just copied their text and flooded them back with their won crap!
But if you do encounter a booter, just run trillain, block and delete them and open up yahoo again.I.AM.CANADIAN!! Happy Birthday CANADA!!
July 1, 2002 at 3:29 pm #102190intranceMemberHey guys.. what is a trillian? A kind of anti-booter or what? Where can I download it?

July 1, 2002 at 6:07 pm #102174detn8rParticipantWe actually have a whole forum on Trilllain… but you can download it at http://www.trillain.cc
Its a chat program that allows you to run IRC, MSN, ICQ, and Yahoo! Messenger all at the same time with one program.

Yes for now. Hundreds of booters are working around that problem they’re having right now. And if they get that bootable, hell, what ‘r we gonna du???
They’re also working around making yahelite bootable too… (if they already havent made a booter for it already!)July 3, 2002 at 10:07 am #102186LarryMemberY!Mlite has neat stuff and is still unbootable to anything out there as far as i know, ive seen alot of rooms empty out and i will still be there, just thought i would mention it
LarryJuly 4, 2002 at 6:48 pm #102172detn8rParticipantIm sorry, I dont know if you have mentioned anything about it yet, but have you provided us with a link for this “Y!Mlite” yet?
Is it anything like yahelite? Can it pick up your password like yahelite?? Maybe you should make a new forum on it, and provide us with some details on how it works, and some details that would make us downloaded it.July 4, 2002 at 7:02 pm #102169FanaticMemberChewy, click the search link on this page and do a search through the forums. We’ve discussed it previously in the Yahoo forum, and there are links to it as well as a description of what it does, etc.
