MemberI don’t have a PSP, nor have I played it, but a few of my classmates have them. I have heard only positive things, no complaints whatsoever. The picture looks amazing for a handheld. It is also cool that it can play videos. I won’t shell out $250 for it, but if the price reduces drastically, then I might consider it.

To me, as a Canadian, $250 is fairly reasonable, especially considering my iPod mini was $350 (+ taxes and warrenty). The $400 dollars (+tax) they want for it here, now THAT’S over priced! 😉April 10, 2005 at 6:18 pm #117656MrEggsalad
ParticipantIf you sell all your old Gameboy Stuff(if you have at least 10 color and 10 advance games) then that brings down the cost quite a lot.

But isn’t that just how it is over there? I buy a magazine with a CD for $9.99 and it says for canada the base price should be like 17.99…
Unless you mean like it’s more than what it would be normally how it is jacked up for Canada…
Anyway, I like my PSP so far… Only game I have is NFS:Underground Rivals. What I like about it most is that you can put your own videos and pictures on it from your computer via USB. Not to mention the games are awesome, and watching movies on it is very fun :). I haven’t had any problems with it yet either, and I’ve had it since it’s release. Maybe all these problems that are being reported (well most, at least) are due to the owners not handling the system well (i.e. dropping, slamming, ect.)? The CD drive has a spring so when you open it it pops out a little, like any other device that handles discs upwards. Whoever said it shot out, must of either had the PSP upside down or have dropped it or something. OR maybe you’re right, and some idiot who was manufactoring it accidentally made the spring too tight? I dunno, but again, I like my PSP 🙂

Ouch…I have my own credit card but my parents pay for it…Nothing wrong with that and i’m 19.But anyways…I’m considering buying a PSP, but aside from gaming, which i know is its main use, i wanted to know about the music aspect of it. Like the amount of songs it can hold and can the music be used like an i-pod to connect to car to play. So i was wondering if anyone who has one, can tell me about that or a good site which mentions it. I know i could just get an i-pod for music but gaming is fun too.
