I love soccer, i think its the best,:cool: but there is always a conflict on who is the best US mens soccer player. Anyone have an opinion? :rolleyes:

Ok, since no one is saying an opinion, I guess I’ll start. Ok , There are many choices to choose from, because it depends on what you are looking for, Ie, if you are looking for speed, Beasely would be a great choice, if you are looking for skill, well there is a whole world of opertunities! now does anyone beg to differ? give an opinion!

The best us football (soccer) player is tim howard, the manchester united goal keeper. then again hes the only us player ive heard of cos i live in manchester. lol

i do play football but ive been out with a serious knee injury 4 six months. my only consolation is that united are top of the premiership.:D

I see……My favorite goalkeeper in the U.S. is John Busch… I met him at a soccer camp, he’s pretty cool!

Sorry man. never heard of him. You dont really see many us players in england or in europe. its a pity because the few that i have seen (tim howard and a i just found out a couple of united youth players are american) have some real skill. Howard kept united in the game last sunday. united won 2-1 but easily could have lost by a lot more if it wasnt for howards brilliant saves.

I just put it in here because I didnt know where else to put it. ANYWAYS….. You’re right about the americans playing in Europe, I think Brian McBride played in England or in Europe somewhere, Now, he’s got skill!

Yeah i’ve heard of him. I think he played for blackburn rovers. Dunno wots happened 2 him though. Tim Howard seems to be the only American player in the major leagues in europe.

I think Brian came back to the US because they wanted him to play on a national team over there, but I think he decided to play in the US, Tim Howard’s pretty cool.
