Let me laugh at this, there is no way a foreign player can play in another country´s national team if they don´t change nationality, and, even if they do so, it would be impossible if they ever played or even got called by their national team (as this is the case). So, the reason he went back is just he didnt get a suitable contract, I am not sure if you know how this works, but never, ever, the national team had anything to do with the leage or team yo play regularly, they are totally separate things and cannot interfere with each other.
And…yeah, he is good.

MemberBrian McBride is from Columbus, Ohio (go buckeyes) and has played on the Columbus Crew for the past couple of years. He’s an awesome soccer player to watch, considered the best by many here in the states. There is talk of him being traded to an England team where he’ll make more than a million dollars a year. Nice huh?
Our local news website has more details here.. http://www.nbc4columbus.com/sports/2765622/detail.html

MemberThe England team is blackburn rovers, there not bad but at the moment they are 16th in the premiership (out of 20). so they definetly need a new player. (manchester united still top!:D)

MemberI can’t believe he’s leaving! Now the Crew doesnt really stand a chance without Brian. I mean yeah, the Crew has some pretty nice players , but Brian was their top scorer! Are they going to get a replacement for him , or what?

MemberIve seen beckham play when he was at manchester united, in a match against leicester city in the worthington cup. he has amazing long ball accuracy and brilliant free kicks but he cant really do much else, but maybe im just bitter because he left united!

MemberI will start by saying…I am a FC Barcelona supporter:eek:.
That being said, I also have to admit Beckham is a great player and nowadays Real Madrid is one of the best teams in the world, along with Manchester United.
If you want to come to Madrid to see a game, don’t hessitate to contact me and I will join you…well, maybe that is not a good idea, we could get beaten if I wear my Barcelona scarf., lol.
By the way, FC Barcelona is getting better, we are in the fourth position and going up, up, up…:D
Do you guys know about Ronaldinho? He is my favourite player nowadays, he’s got lots of potential.
I also like Morientes, now playing for Monaco and Reyes, now playing in Arsenal.
Also, I want to ask you guys…what is your feeling about Chelsea’s big investment this year and if you think it was worth it.
Science.-

MemberYeah i know Ronaldinho because he was supposed to be coming to united but then he went to barcelona.:(
Dont talk to me about arsenal, they keep winning. there top of the premiership and just extended thier lead as they beat chelsea 2-1.
Chelsea’s big investment does not seem to be working at the minute but the players havnt had time to get used to playing as a team yet so they will probably be better in the future.February 21, 2004 at 10:51 pm #86858sirhc09
MemberI don’t really watch International soccer unless it’s the world cup or its on TV and theres nothing else to watch. But i am very interested about learning now! What are some other good teams over there?
