Hey n3td3v if you couldnt messege anyone not on your friend list alot of people would be agrivated and couldnt get to meet many people plus if you hade to add somebody to messege them they could get your ip so I dont like that idea

sorry but I hade to put my 2 cents in

Im sorry to tell you but im sure you cannot do that ……. if so it would be cool
sorry but your lookin thorugh a dark tunnel with no end

Im not sure if somebody previously posted this information but if your on somebodys buddy list they can extreamly easily get your ip address so watch out to whom you have on your friend list also if you feel threatend and have a dial up modem just log off the net and log back on 🙂

EDIT: O0o before I forget if you have somebody on your friend list and you type to them its the only way they can get your ip …….. basicly if your on but dont type to them they cant get it unless they send you an invite to somthing and you click deny or whatever………….

O0o and even if you log onto yahoo messenger by use of proxies they can still get your ip 🙂 if it scares you dont add people to your friend list just keep a list of the people you wanna talk to and messege them when you want to 🙂

Thats all the info I have for now I hope I helped and didnt scar you
