I’m 26 and I can’t hear a thing…
amy_d_gParticipantI would definitely try the uninstall-reinstall route, see if that helps. Something else you might want to check out is the Cookie-button in the status bar extension. I have used this for quite some time, and it can come in handy, it places a small icon in the status bar at the bottom of the screen, and if you are at a site that needs cookies and cookies are disabled, you can fix the problem with a simple click.

Quote:This exploit only works on Microsoft Internet Explorer (when IE security is not set to high) or Netscape explorer only when Javascript is enabled. About 70% of internet surfers may be “infected” (affected). Some firewalls (not enough brands do this yet) will block clipboard gathering (not sure what one).Another reason to be a Firefox User 😀

This is the page with the origianl adult smilies, but only those who have them installed will see them. Hope this helps.
amy_d_gParticipantThanks for the quick replies guys, I appreciate it! 😉
amy_d_gParticipantI use the secure seal, and I just checked out Amishdonkey.com. I was in fact able to enter a gameroom through the backdoor on the site on the first try. The secure seal does use a cookie, so it must be something else other than the seal interfering with this procees for you.
I agree with hatedjealousy, tell us what browser you are using and perhaps try another one. Another option would be to try the backdoor site using your ID on another PC, if you have access to one, and see if it allows you to log in.
September 3, 2006 at 3:17 am in reply to: Secretly add someone to your Contact List? Good or Bad? You tell us! #151459amy_d_gParticipantI really do not like the idea of someone being able to add me to their list without permission. The way I see it, the only use for this is to add someone who does not want to allow you to add them. That is why Yahoo made it so that you have to send a request to get someone on your list. I generally only use messenger for keeping in touch with close friends and family members, along with a few people I have met online over the years, but I must get 10-15 new friend requests a week from strangers, which I automatically deny. I certainly don’t want just anyone to be able to see my online status as well as custom status messages, and I do not want to be bombarded with IM’s from strangers as soon as I log on. In addition, there are a few people that I know personally that I do not want to be able to see me online for various reasons, if they were able to add me without notification, I would see that as a violation of my privacy. I think people should have the right to decide who can have them on their list.
amy_d_gParticipantI have some skins here, they are not self-installing but here is a step by step guide on how to unzip and install the skins. These skins work on versions 6 and up of Yahoo.
amy_d_gParticipantYes it is possible, the file is in C:Program FilesYahoo!Messengerlogin.swf
It is a flash file, you can replace it with another .swf by renaming the desired file to login.swf.

Ummm sorry somehow I missed that part… forgive me, I’m a bit brain-dead at the moment…didn’t see the part at the bottom.amy_d_gParticipantOops… musta grabbed the link from the wrong tab.:o Fixed it.
amy_d_gParticipantIf you are using version 8 of yahoo, there is a handy little plugin here that allows you to instantly access all the smileys, including the secret ones. I just found it, so I haven’t really tried it out too much, but it’s another option.
Edit: Hmmm so I just started using this and I get a script error when I click on a smiley, so maybe it isn’t working right. Has anyone else had issues with this plugin?
amy_d_gParticipantThanks guys! I enjoyed my time on staff and I will definitely still be around to help out here and there, don’t worry. These last 6 months have been really crazy for me, lots of changes and I just don’t have the time to be here as much as I’d like. So take care and I’ll see you around the forums! 😀
amy_d_gParticipantThe Windowblinds bug has actually been around for quite a while, I’m not sure if it affected version 6 but a lot of people have had problems with running 7 and windowblinds.

We have a pretty laid back team, after all *wink*I’d agree with this. I think people are leavng simply because they have too much going on in their lives and don’t have the time to devote to BBB.
Still, I wouldn’t mind getting to know people a little better, feel free to hit me up on Yahoo and I’ll try to do the same. Oh and since someone mentioned myspace, here is mine.
