Kaspersky isn’t what the poster is looking for, nor is it even a decent anti-virus suite.

I highly recommend a knife fight to settle the score.BBB’s MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELORS: BEHIND THE SCENES… UNCUT, UNCENSORED.
Actually that reminds me, whatever happened to the idea of the BBB mod team throwing together a (tasteful) nude calender? :p
AnnaParticipantCan’t really say if he’s good or not, really not my genre of music.

Before WoW, I would occasionally play Guild Wars (I have a 20 still), but GW doesn’t even come close to what WoW is. It’s very fun, and people are surprisingly friendly. And, like what’s been said before, there is a very very diverse userbase, which makes it even better.
[Greyname] Kyn Character Sheet on The Armory
Dude, my first main was 60 in 12 days played time.
I agree with you on Guild Wars though. I’ve had a GW account for two years and haven’t touched it since the original game first came out. The gameplay is too linear, and the backend lore is just boring.
Edit:
A little fun… claiming the draenei starting area in the name of the Horde a couple months ago. 🙂
(Obviously, I’m the far right. (I’ve since replaced that staff with the same one Sintheroz & Onstar are using though))AnnaParticipantBulimia isn’t something, that as far as I know, can affect dogs. It’s a mental disorder stemmed from years of evolution and social structure.
For animals whose brain capacity is no more advanced than eat, sleep, poop, “HOO BOY CHASE SQUIRREL/STICK/EMPTY AIR!”, thinking “God, I’m fat” isn’t something that crosses their minds.
Failing that, it could just be some sort of stomach or digestive problem… but dogs can’t voluntarily make themselves vomit.
AnnaParticipantWhat’re his bowel movements like?
It’s possible that if he’s constipated, he will strain so hard to make a bowel movement that he vomits, it’s very common with dogs. There exist many at-home remedies you can try — first one I’d reccomend is just adding half a teaspoon of Metamucil (or any type of psyllium) to your dog’s food twice a day.
If laxatives show no progress within a couple days, try just adding a teaspoon or two of olive oil to his food once every couple days… this should lubricate his intestines.
If after a week he shows no progress, take him to a vet — there are veterinary-prescribed laxatives that will do the trick, but most of the time it can be cured at home.
If constipation isn’t the case? Honestly… some domesticated animals can just be stupid. 🙂
My cats? Eat pennies, lint, mud, string (I’ve had to pull whole strings out from their throats)… anything absolutely inedible that they can find on the floor. Of course they puke their inedible findings daily, and immediately proceed to eat their own puke.
AnnaParticipantGraham smells.
I propose a cleanliness prerequisite be put in place for all admins.

AnnaParticipantAwesomeSauce;218609 wrote:Interesting article.Personally, the only reason I don’t like Macs is because (correct me if I’m wrong) you never really know what’s going on behind the scenes. That’s why I don’t think that a Mac OS is a very good learning environment for those who want to learn more about computers, if you know what I mean.
Behind the scenes? You mean stability, privacy and simplicity? Macs are by far the superior system, especially taking into account their data storage and access modules (which, is brilliant, I must say).
What’s going on behind the scenes in Windows? Crap.
The reason Windows backend content is so accessible, is because the platform is so vulnerable, and that’s a bad thing. Anti-virus software is a foreign venture for Macs, and that’s just one way of exemplifying their security. Consider the inability to delve much into a Macs platform, a good thing — you can’t, and nobody else can either.Let me put it this way, how many times have you ctrl+alt+del’ed in your lifetime? The keybinding was originally designed by Microsoft in the 80s, for Microsoft, while Windows was still in its beta stages for the use of developers only while debugging, but, it stuck and made it’s way into the final release for a reason.
I agree with Jeff in saying the points were weak, aside from gaming. (The only real reason I don’t use a Mac)
I’ve been thinking of plopping OSX on my PC for a while now, now that it’s possible. Also interestingly enough, the editor-in-cheif of PC Magazine resigned over that article after the CEO attempted to censor it. Read here.
AnnaParticipantRae, like Phillip said, XP is certainly still available to purchase in stores.
As far as I know, there’s no such thing as an XP downgrade (unless you consider Vista one ;)), so you’ll have to reformat and do a fresh OS install.
AnnaParticipantDargon, I don’t know the answer, but at the very least to ensure it isn’t actually someone else accessing your account, I’d recommend just changing your password, and see if it continues.
If you want to be absolutely sure, try doing a system scan for any key loggers, etc.
AnnaParticipantHeh, I was just about to post that same link.
I follow the Mac vs. PC commercials religiously.
AnnaParticipantI call shenanigans!
Could be a lookalike.
I remember in high school, I had a chemistry teacher who was an exact Richard Gere lookalike. He even was a stunt double for Richard Gere himself when he was filming a movie in town a couple years back.
AnnaParticipantJeff;218587 wrote:Purrfect!By the way, is it a public beta?
As far as I know, it’s open to the general public, subject to an application/selection process obviously as per most public video game betas.
I’ve been investing my efforts elsewhere, trying to get into the Warhammer Online beta for a couple months now. 🙂
