I don’t have that in any of my machines @ teck64
I’ve done a search in all of my HDD just to satisfy my curiousity… nada…
The temporary chat ban that Yahell imposes to offenders is done server side and not on the client PC…
I’ve also done a search in most tech sites and I can’t find any reference on “MScgsys.exe” the closest that I found was “msgsys.exe”
calvinMemberhttp://www.333 <<< this would also initiate a chat ban from yahoo
calvinMemberHave you checked your proxy settings?
I had a similar problem a few months back… and it all boiled down to an accidentally altered proxy setting…
calvinMemberIf you’re talking about Magic Password Stealer, I believe that this is not the right forum to post this question… coz we do not subscribe to sending trojans to other chatters
calvinMemberpost some eye-catching message in your status… something that will make them IM you…
quite crude but you would get an idea as to who is added on your list… unless of course… the person wants to remain anonymous…
calvinMemberI’m not going to give this guy the satisfaction… by giving up easily
If he wants to bug me… I’ll bug him even more 🙂
I just hope that yahoo fix this obvious bug fast… my friends and I have reported the incident to yahoo… all we can do for now is wait…
calvinMemberif you’re online now, he’s “locked” the room again… I’ve left one of my SN’s in the room…
I’ve found a work around though as long as there is still one user in the room… that anyone can get in the room as long as they get in the room using the “/join” command…
it seems that it only blocks Y Messenger users (I used yahelite and another ID to join the room and it was able to do so)
someone told me that he could be spoofing the room with bots and filling them up… but we’ve proven this is not so since anyone can join in as long as they use “/join ROOM NAME” command… but if you use the “join room” pop up window you get the full room warning…
wierd huh…
calvinMemberWere you given a USER profile or a GUEST profile?
IF you have a USER profile, then you should be able to install Yahoo Messenger normally. It would ony be installed n your account and the other user wouldn’t be able to see it in their own login account.
I you were given a GUEST profile, then you won’t be able to install any sorfware.
calvinMemberyes you can… it would only be available in your account though…
calvinMembersent you an e-mail… if you’re online now, he just locked the room again
calvinMemberI guess you’re all stumped too huh… my post has been viewed at least 20 times and yet no one seems to have any idea as to what has been going on… I was thinking, maybe this guy works for Yahoo and somehow wants to or wishes to lord over the users room…
calvinMemberI’m not familiar with the Dell’s sound card features but if your PC has some form of digital echo/karaoke feature try disabling it… most of the time, most new PC sound cards have so much digital trash enabled by default that it usually interferes or blocks new software/programs from accessing it.
calvinMemberSomething went haywire with Yahoo’s users’ rooms…
a few hours ago, my room suddenly disappeared from the list and the chatters were dropping off like flies…
then I one of my chat buddies sent me a private message telling me that he can’t join in the room…
my work around… I re-created the room… and viola problem solved…calvinMemberQuote:quote:”Polygamy : marriage in which a spouse of either sex may have more than one mate at the same time”?!?! or you meant something else?
calvinMemberAm not too sure on this.. but I think Yahoo! just installed something in their servers that disconnects users who have been idle for a certain amount of time…
