I have an online girlfriend. I live in california and she is in oklahoma for now. We have been together for almost 2 months and known each other for 4. One night she messaged me on ICQ and we have talked ever since. I used to think online dating was stupid and a waste of time. With the comments from the first page it makes it sound like only teens and kids do the online dating thing but i know quite a few people that do it and get married. It sucks in that you cant physically touch them or anything but if it works out eventually you will, i have lots of friends who have gotten married from people they have met online. Hardly ever see them online anymore though which sucks. I went out with a girl in hawaii for a year and a half and got to go to hawaii for two weeks. All i can say about that relationship is that hey i got to go to hawaii for two weeks so it was worth that hehehe. Im a geek, gamer and star wars freak im to shy to really talk to girls in real life. Plus you can get to know someones inner self and not just the first time you meet impression you get when you meet in real life online. That is one of the things i like about it.
I have a webcam that i use once in a great while, half the ppl i talk to on Mirc i have on yahoo and they want to see my ugly mug for some reason hehe.
lol fate had you meet someone, well fate and yahoo messing up hehe. Never know maybe this will be your future wife someday hehe. I hope they fix it too, i was talking to a friend on Mirc last night and he was talking about different problems he had been having with yahoo, all of which i had seen talked about on here so i told him about what was said on here. I havnet had any problems yet though *knocks on wood* hopefully i wont.

Wow my schools firewall wont let me view the site ill have to go on when i get home. I never even knew there was any internet connections in Iraq.
Ive gotten super mode to work twice, but like jeff said i saw nothing at all different about it except for one thing. My friend had a picture on the wall that is always blurry and it wasnt blurry now. Oooooooooooooooooo wow yippee hurray yay, just what i wanted to see better. I dont see anything very good about. When it does work. I though got it to work through an linksys router the two times, dont know how though.
Jeez i always knew AOL was stupid and try to cheat people who discontinue there service, but damn they are dumb to be doing this. Good luck jeff hope everything goes good and since its been over a month well maybe it has. I signed up to AOL a year ago, we ended up getting comcast broadband and canceled our subscription with AOL. Well 4 months later my mom is checking her checking account statement and she saw she had been charged by AOL for 4 months of service. Called them up and after 4 hours of being on the phone and being transfered from department to department they finally got the idea we dont want them and they redunded us. Isnt that illegal? Yet nothing is ever done to AOhell about that. I mean hell they cheat people all the time and get away with it and now they are trying to do this to here? Hmmm ok
Hmmm well you can download AIM again and then when you sign on just use your current sign on name and password for AIM. Though i dont have AOL so not sure if it will work the same with that. I just have AIM and thats how it works for me whenever i have to download it again.
Wow that looks really cool, i cant wait for it to come out either. Ive always had problems with the webcam part of msn for some reason will be cool to have it integrated and not an addon.
Im online all the time, though i only chat at night during the day ill be surfing the web or playing games online. I chat about 6 hours at night or more.
and since you said your a newbee, just to let you know talking in caps is yelling. And im an op on a few channels on irc and that would eventually get you kicked.
