You need to not delete so many in a row, you are sending a particular packet to yahoo to delete.

if not, change connection settings to proxy http via IE then back again to no proxies.
Could be just an exchange in the area between you that could be slowing down your messages, like a tariff that filters spam and other sms/mms/data traffic.

Yahoo Doesn’t show local time of contact just your local time and also uses your local time on timestamps.
Other protocols have such features but yahoos YMSG protocol does not have this feature, Sorry.
It does that when you’re signed into another device, do you have yahoo messenger logged into another device?
Like Android or Iphone Yahoo messenger.
Go through your Soundcard/chip device settings and toggle various options, specifically applications taking priority in the device.
Also make sure the device supports various SIP/PTP/VOIP protocols and your sound drivers are up to date.
