I just tried creating a new thread using Firefox, and it gave me the message it too short error as well. I just hit the back button and reposted it and it seemed to go through OK. Annoying!

Interesting. I’m an avid listener to last.fm (and actually have a monthly subscription) as well as listen to 181.fm.
Well, I just checked out my own Gmail account, which I never use — and I don’t have any email spam of which you are talking about. I did however notice I have unread emails dating all the way back to 2005 😛 I guess I should check up on it a little more
It definitely works for me. I’ve been using SMS via WLM for at least 5 years now. Check out this site to set up your mobile account. Once you’re going, you can receive and reply to any messages sent via SMS.
Now of course, if you have a Smart Phone, most of the carrier’s have an application for WLM, which is great. I use it on my Blackberry.
Just throwing this out there, but I’ll be in Orlando, FL next week — and have a little free time on my hands. Is anyone in the area up for a quick lunch or coffee? Let me know if you’re game!
