I would just leave the xp firewall off it cuases lots of problems and is junk anyway. I would use kerio or sygate for my firewall.
dreadMemberYeah thats it aalyianut one computer over 10 accounts and one MSN messenger, none of the other accounts do this. Ill try it. Thank you.
dreadMemberI dont know what it is MSN network, MSN messenger, hacker etc.. thats why I posted. All I know is that it is doing for one account only so far and was wondering is this has happen to anyone else or if anyone else have seen this happen before.
dreadMemberNo I have not tried obivious things cuase it only happens with this one account. No other accounts does this and with the exact some MSN messenger on the exact same computer. MSN messenger 6.2.0137. Messenger plus 3.0.1.94. Plugins audiator 3, colornick2, shortcuts plug, stuffplugg-ng. Os windows xp pro sp2. Ram 768 megs. But like I siad its only one account. I can logg off that account and log into another account and it does not happen.
dreadMemberI have heard of this before and supposly there is actually a program that will do this. There was one guy in a MSN chat room siad this happened to him and what he finally did was contact msn, cancel his account with MSN help and opened up another one. And was very carefull who he added to his new account. Have heard this from other people to, about 5 or 6. Whether its true or not who knows, everyone knows how insecure MSN is. If one man builds it another man can tear it down.
dreadMemberhttp://www.theeldergeek.com/messenger_removal.htm If you do remove or block it you cannot use remote assistance. I like the Group Policy Editor way if you got xp pro
dreadMemberhttps://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12078 look at that post. It use to work for MSN messenger 6 dont know if it still does or not though but use to for the first MSN messenger 6.
dreadMemberDont use windows xp firewall. Use kerio personall firewall or sygate or zone alarm free. You cannont tell it tell to open port so and so and fully allow app so and so. The built in xp firewall sucks. Get a real and good and free one that I posted above.

dreadMemberPestpatrol will detect it http://pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/i/ispynow.asp there is the info. Buy pestpatrol if you like it. I love it. Here is what mcafee says http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?id=description&virus_k=99575 and here is for norton http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyware.ispynow.html here is the url for ispy http://www.ispynow.com/ He sounds like a sicko or something if he really put them programs and her comp and maybe a hacker to. If you don’t have one get a firewall there is plenty of free ones and they are good to and pay attention to what it says wants get on the net.http://smb.sygate.com/buy/download_buy.htm is for sygate its good and free look toward the bottom where is says sygate personal firewall free download and here is another good one http://www.kerio.com/kpf_home.html if he did do it I would email everyone about him and get a lawyer and see him in court. That is illegal if he did that without her permission. It would have to be proven but I would still talk to a lawyer.
So it does look like a antivirus will pick it up well here is some free online antivirus scans to run http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp http://www.mcafee.com/myapps/mfs/default.asp
http://security1.norton.com/ssc/vc_scan.asp?langid=us&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=GRCBPWFYJOKMFIDPMSV
And pestpatrol has a free online scan to http://pestscan.com/ScanOrTrial.asp -
