You could email the person that makes MSN Backup. Here is the page for MSN Backup. The program does not want to download a theme. Something is not configured correctly on your computer. Or some necessary files are not installed. I would email the maker of the software.
dreadMemberCustomMess RC2 does not backup or transfer anything. It is for adding them even the website says that. MSN Content Adder is also a program to add emotes. MSN BackUp is for backing up and transferring emotes, winks etc.. though. I use MSN BackUp myself with no problems. I do not know about that error you are receiving but sounds like you have problems. With all that googling and you said you got some free sreensavers, you might be infected with viruses or spy/adware. I cannot be sure of that but something is wrong if you get that message when you try to run them programs. Does that message only come up with them programs or is it happening more than that? I would not disable the windows firewall if that is the only firewall you are using.
dreadMemberdreadMemberhttp://apatch.tk has a patch for windows live messenger to.
dreadMemberMessengerDiscovery X 2 use to have a option that would tell you if someone signed in as offline. Do not know if it still has the feature or not.
dreadMemberIs patched? What version are you using? If its patched and you are using version 8.0.0365 it will not work. There is a new updated patch but its only for version 8.0.0562. New version of apatch has no problems with sharing folders but you have to be running windows live messenger 8.0.0562.
dreadMemberdreadMemberEverything from sherv.net is crapware. I do not understand why people still recommends it. http://members.lycos.nl/monkeyforum/aapiemirror/emoadder.zip. That don’t have and spy/adware in it.

dreadMemberDont know much about ip stealing. Not a expert. Look on google you will find lots about it. What someone could do is hack your email account and email others and use that hacked email account on messenger or on whatever sites is used with that email address. They could hack into you and steal your info, put a keylogger on your comp etc.. Or they could trick you into installing a keylogger etc… and get some or all of your info. Like email addresses, passwords etc… Best way to try to prevent this is use strong passwords and have a good firewall, antivirus, and antispyware and be carefull of what you install and check your startup entries every so often. Check your running processes every so often and look in add/remove programs every so often. Here is some sites about passwords http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/privacy/password.mspx
http://www.securitystats.com/tools/password.php.
You could download a password generator to http://www.tucows.com/downloads/Windows/IS-IT/Security/PasswordManagers/ http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/security/fwpass.html
http://www.snapfiles.com/shareware/security/swpass.html
http://www.winguides.com/security/password.php. I dont like the password managers, dont like any program keeping, storing, managing my passwords. I only like the password generators. Hope this helps some. I know its not exactly what you wanted though.dreadMemberLook here Shifter. But don’t look like to many people care for the idea, I think it would be cool though. Oh well just another idea that got shot down lol.
dreadMemberWhat you mean Tigerblade when you said unless you can come up with some really good idea? I just think it would be good to have a toolbar like http://www.neowin.net/ has. Forums, irc chat, news etc.. on the toolbar. Nice, simple and fast.
dreadMemberMsn messenger 7.5.0311 came out yesterday princeG.
dreadMemberIts the firewall in the internet security suite if I am not mistaken. Norton is a pain in the but. I think msn messenger has the most problems with the norton than with any other software. Make sure msn messenger is fully allowed. Here is something http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Issues.aspx. You could look through the norton logs and try to find out what exactly it is blocking. Here is a google group search and another . Its big problem. Most people I know just trashed it cause of the hassle lol. I would contact norton to find out what exactly it blocks. This problem with norton and msn messenger has been around for awhile. Sorry I couldn’t give you detailed info on how to fix it but hope it helps.
