MemberOk… since I never said I was using pro, or basic for that matter. Either way, it shouldn’t matter what version I have. But to the other guys, thanks, I dl’ed an updated plugin. Everything is great now! 😀

MemberOk, I’m still having this problem. I’ve taken all the steps ya’ll have mentioned above… only now, QT is opening all of my audio files even though I’ve made sure that it’s preferences are set to not play ANY audio files. What’s wrong?

MemberThanks! Anytime :D!

MemberWow… Well I tried rebooting. Nothing changed. Looked into all the suggestions here, everything seemed normal, but still no sound. Rebooted again. Sound magically works! Then the Twilight Zone Theme started playing in the background…:woot:

MemberI hate what rap has turned into. I used to be able to “tolerate” the older stuff. Now the genre has grown into something that definitely isn’t music and is full of drug addicted/dealing, abusive, degrading, and freaking stupid idiots who dropped out of elementary school (it’s always been like this hasn’t it…!). I shudder to think about the time when I’m an adult w/ kids and I try to tune into an oldies station, only to hear “toxic” by Brittany Spears, or “Candyshop” by 50 Cent… it’s sickening

MemberYou’ll find some great deals @ Newegg.com. Check there. I’ve heard good reviews of the seagate as well, I’d look into that or LaCie (but they can be expensive). Well good luck!

MemberHow do you permanently delet files so that recovery is impossible, without formatting your HD (won’t you have to reinstall your OS if you reformat the HD?)?

MemberShe doesn’t even have hair that long… The first thing that hit me wasn’t the comparison picture of the model, it was the photoshopped head and the hair.

Memberwhere were we ever talking about censorship? If you’re talking about me saying that some of the NOW cd’s censor the inappropriate language in a few songs, that’s not arguing over censorship. I don’t think that 12 year old kids should be listening to profane language… I thought that you’d agree and think “oh hey, he’s suggesting a CD that’s a mix of popular songs, and some of them just so happen to have bad language, but they censor out the inappropriate words so it’s kid-friendly.” But I guess that was taken as “oh hey, he said that this cd censors out inappropriate words on songs that have strong language, he’s arguing over censorship!”
FirefoxMan
MemberAgain, I vote for the NOW cd’s.

MemberOh yeah, way to take the high road there JoelBie:rolleyes:… don’t listen to him. Trying to sue someone costs money y’know, they’re called legal expenses and you’ve obviously never heard of them. Arsenal is also only a highschool student. Everyday kids “slander” other students, it’s just what goes on in high school. I know what this girl did to Arsenal was really mean, but it doesn’t call for legal action.

MemberCarriemeawayplz wrote:Foxfire, My daughter was allowed to listen to other music and to MTV believe it or not . Then I sat down with her and saw the latest Brittney Spears video where she portraying a teenager who was committing suicide in the bathtub.( call me crazy but I feel she doesn’t need that kind of influence) I also read some of the lyrics she brought home from school that the ” music teacher ” thought <– yes THOUGHT was going to be sung by the 7th graders in the spring concert .Example : Quakin and vibratin your thighs ridin harder than guys.
Just didn’t sit well with me or other parents at the school. But amazingly before I complained the other parents set the teacher straight.
My daughter did get a little upset until she found out that the artists like Lindsey lohan, Raven, Kelly Clarkson ( so on and so forth ) had songs being played on it. She couldn’t believe that although they have clean versions on Radio Disney that they are songs by artists that she does like. It isn’t like kids bop where the kids are singing the songs. Its the actual recording artists themselves. I like country music myself BUT some of them are a little suggestive too. You may think I’m being harsh but I feel since her teenage years are so impressionable that if I help her out now she might not be so likely to get into trouble. Yes, I pay attention to what she hears and what she sees. I call it being a responsible parent.
So far no fights. But then I’m lucky, She is straight A’s and we just found out she is already being chosen for scholarships so ( problems? ) bring them on . I am ready! lol

If you’re daughter is ok with everything, great! But this is coming from another responsible student as well. From observing other high school students as well, she’s going to want to listen to other genre’s of music and watch MTV and other similar stations. I mean, I’ve never once felt the urge to do anything dumb because of tv(not to say your daughter would). I’m also keeping in mind that you’re an adult, and that I’m a student, our points of view will be different on these kinds of subjects ;). I’m in no way saying you’re a bad parent, I’m sorry if it ever came off that way, I was just surprised lol! 😀

Memberyes… I did pick up on how Windows won most of the time and there were comments about how much better windows will be/always be… but I’d still like for him to possibly try a serious comparison if he’d like…
