MemberThe only possible way you could make a patch like that, were if it was unstable. As Microsoft purposely modified their code in future versions to stop polygamy from working. An “ALL Version” patch that would with msn 1.0 would only possibly work up to the last MSN Messenger 4.x. However, this may work if CRC checks aren’t made or you follow the same procedure that Asdfuae followed to do this. Even his is not “ALL Version” because of the Microsoft code change, he has multiple versions of his patch out that work with a certain range of MSN Messenger’s. Although I haven’t really looked at your project, and I apologise if I’m wrong, but thats what usually is stated about such patches.

MemberIf you have Messenger Plus! installed on your computer whilst trying to patch your MSN Messenger with the Nega Patch, it will fail, as it does a CRC check, and Messenger Plus! alters the code around.
So, terminate Messenger Plus! via the task manager, or remove it from the startup list and reboot, then patch your MSN Messenger with the nega patch.

MemberIf you have Messenger Plus!, you can type in a conversation window: /nick (!WAT)
and it will make your nick the name of the currently playing song.

MemberA patch? you do not need a patch to disable those..
On your contact list, go to Tools >> Options
Click the General tab
Untick:
Display alerts when contacts come online
Display alerts when a message is recieved
Display alerts when email is recievedAnd those popups will never show again until you retick those boxes.

MemberYes, you have to set your default background..its MSN Messenger not Messenger Plus! then.
On your conversation window:
click Backgrounds >> Create Backgrounds
choose your background from there or add it. Then select Set default.

MemberNo, thats not the case, mods are here to keep the board clean, not be your personal forum cleaner. Spamming is never ok, even when its just so a mod can clean it, or so someone can see your post. It’s never been ok, and never is in most forums either.

MemberHave you already patched your MSN Messenger?
if so, either reinstall it or repair it with the installer.
imported_EvilSeph
MemberWell, I’ll syndicate this around with credit to you.

MemberAfraid not, maybe there will be a workaround in the near future.

MemberWell I respect your opinion, but you can’t say none of the fixes we have listed has nothing to do with it. They work, end of story. I haven’t tried reinstalling, but its pointless for me, it works so I won’t bother.
