I rarely add people anymore. The ones I do have I’ve known for a long time (prior to the ‘interweb’). I get a kick out of people (who are not spammers) who want to add you without even talking to you: “Hey u seem kewl! Lets chat and i will add u 2 my list!”
For the record, I have <30 people on my list.
I endorse this thread. I sold my old D-Link cam a month ago and need a nicer/newer cam. Which cam give you the most “bang for your buck” for under $50 (American)?
PS: Trillian is somewhat shotty when it comes to supporting webcams currently.

Each time I try to get messages off the server, it askes for my username and password repeatedly and never lets me in.

But as you can see from the many other posts in this forum explicitly stating that it’s not possible to view another’s cam without permisson, it won’t happen.
If you really want to “catch” him, make up a fake screen name and go undercover and buddy up to him.

Right. So then you’ll have these images on your hard drive. That’s a good idea because then when you send them to the police (or who ever) I’m sure you’ll be able to prove they came from his computer (good luck).
