That got patched, i think theres still a few that are up, but most of the people i know who had it in their profiles yahoo deleted them, this always happens, my friend was arguing with me after he got his up, i told him they would patch it again, this has happened like 3 or 4 times now. There are about 50 or so ids with actual custom colored profiles, i have one:

Theres a few nice ones, for the most part mainly plain colors. These were all made years back b4 yahoo banned them. Ne time new exploits pop up they eventually get wind of it and patch them. Heres a few:

I’m not here to suck up to anyone, nothing meaningful ever comes without some confontation. Heck, i’m just trying to get 2000 reads on the same thread! hehehe :p
First off when did i ever say i knew the first thing about programming? NEVER , you want me to get someone in here to talk about programming i can do that, i could give two craps about programming, if you want to talk about cracking yahoo accounts let’s chat buddy. As far as my friend making a program that can make a 1000 ids in a minute, i can see how you would logically think it’s not possible from the word verification, but this kid is one of the top programmers in yahoo and finds ways around it.
i_have_a_life_this_is_a_prog1 -999 is one set of ids a buddy of mine made, he says he has like 10 sets of 1000, they make them for boosting rating in pool. you can check everyone of them if u wish, they are all there. Anything else you want me to clarify me being a “complete moron” and all.
I’m gettin tired of hearing these RUMORS about ytunnel, first it was made so people could view your webcam without your knowledge, now it’s this, i think people get jealous when someone makes a very successful program. My only beef with chet is he needs to work on locking up his registrations better. I have a friends in yahoo that make programs and sell them, and NO ONE ever gets them for free.
I have had dozens and dozens of yahoo programs and ytunnel is by far the best, some may have been a lil fancier but he really does a good job with it. And logically i would want someone who makes booters designing an anti-boot program cause he would be very knowledgeable on the subject, and also he could make new booters, test them on his program, and then patch them from working in his next update.
And as far as patching the program, a guy i know made a rating booster in games and he sold a lot of copies of it, and then it got patched by yahoo, and supposedly he was in legal troubles with yahoo, and he was legally obligated to upgrade his prog, or the people who bought it could either sue him, or get their money back. yahoo accepts your INITIAL zip or your updated zip for marketing purposes…. Even b4 that they would ask you to give them the birthday u put on your name when u signed up, and used to there was ways to look up birthdays on ids thru pay direct, but that is patched, theres a couple other ways, dunno if they patched them or not, not many people knew about em. Even if i couldn’t get a name deactivated from havin questionable info theres a dozen different ways to get ids deactivated, we been having deactivating wars in games for months now. The way i look at it one way or another everyone has violated tos.
Netti, it’s your world, i’m just living in it. You seem like one of those people who believe that the world is all warm and wholesome and bad things don’t happen, well bad things do happen, and i have NEVER given direct info on this forum about any exploits, exploits always have a way of magically getting patched when they go public, not that i care, because i don’t use them, if i want anything i goto friends of mine and have them do my dirty work for me, mainly just to mess with people who won’t shut up. You are listening to what i’m saying, you just aren’t HEARING it.
Celtic, like i said, the odds of your account being info cracked are a million to 1. It is a rare way for people to steal accounts, and out of all the people who try this method, only about 1% have any success with it. And as far as securing your answer, i would suggest using spaces, i wouldn’t suggest using spaces in your password, sometimes it can mess up the account. I would suggest making it Pet’s Name? and then making up an answer that doesn’t fit the question, like you could make your answer “big blue ball” when u try to answer it, the answer isn’t case sensitive, so if u made your answer DoG, dog would work.
Oreo, i have to disagree with you once again(imagine that). Yes a few years back you could personalize your secret question, as a cracker, i prefer personalized secret questions, cause people tend to make these easier to crack, i always knew for every 20 birthdays i cracked, at least one of the ids would have a gimmie secret question, e.g. “xxxx” was one secret question, and the answer was xxxx, no one else ever figured it out, but some people would make secret questions that were reminders to their pw, i had one id ? was “WHO ARE THE DEMONS?” an i knew it was referring to an aussie rules football team, but i could not guess the secret question, so eventually i tried DEMONS for the pw and it worked, i had some other ids that i got using the same method. Another thing against personalized ?’s is that they can make ?’s with limited answers, had one id, What is my fav color?, and i had more then one that were “What’s my fav restaurant?” Always liked the ones that narrowed it down, first one i ever guessed “What is G?” answer was gang, another one was “d
” i just went thru the dictionary lookin for 7 letter words that began with a d, til i got it.The best two secret questions to create are Pet’s name? and City of Birth?

I don’t think theres anything wrong with getting off topic, and to answer your ?, yes i think i can figure out if someone who’s Invisible mode is online or not, and no this isn’t for stalking purposes, if im talking to someone, and they seem to quit talking in the middle of a convo i always wonder if they are still there so i use some methods to check whether or not they are online. Or connected to messenger. And these same checks can be used if they are in Invisible mode.
Arwen, i misread i think the thread you started about getting rid of an email account, i would never suggest to someone to delete their main id, ok i would lol, , but not in a forum were im trying to help people out. I didn’t realize it till i saw what jeff posted. And i apologized (which won’t happen too often) And as far as me posting someones personal info, the info was pretty much attainable from this site, zips are simply traced knowing someones city, I thought some people were doubting my talents, and questioning me, i don’t like that, i did it to teach you all a lesson that we are all vulnerable, even i am vulnerable if the right people get the right exploit.

I misread the guys initial ? here, i thought he was saying he had his id, and it had the default name, and another alias that was his email, and he wanted to get rid of it, cause it is a huge pain to delete an email account if it’s just an alias, let alone the default name. If you delete a default name with edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user it says it keeps the name out of use for 3 months, but i think it’s more like 6 months, and basically the name is just temporarily deactivated. I deleted one id to test this, and i think if the id is remakeable, it’s after 6 months prolly, i had one loud mouth kid, deleted his name, and it messed up the account, were it had the locked up for security reasons window always poppin up with it same thing that happened to arwen10024.
I apologize to Nhyrvana, can see why they got frustrated with me.
B4 i got into cracking i had no clue how ids were taken, i just thought they were magically “hacked” i think it is very important to understand the methods how they are stolen, to be informed, and to be able to make the most logical choices to secure your account. I would ASSUME that any other intelligent person would have this school of thought. I have went into great detail about how accounts are stolen, and also how to secure them, and things to do, and other things to avoid, one thing i remembered was to say that you should never make your id the same as your password, thats one of the first things most people would try. Sorry, but i have always been fascinated with cracking. If someone tells me to do something, i want a reason behind why i should do it, or very unlikely i won’t do it. 😎

I ran into your site Nhyrvana about a year ago, linked off a cracking site, from redneckrepairs, and i respect your opinion, you try to help people out, and i don’t see why you can’t respect mine. I would like to know how i am a danger to this forum? Is it because if i don’t like someone i let them know? Because i am a realist and i live in reality and i put everything onto the table? i for a fact deleted an email, and remade it as a new id, on 11/15/2002 , i remeber it taking me a long time to figure out how, so i doubt many other people would figure it out, it might not work now, but it did then.

yahoo doesnt dump the id back in to use. it holds for as long as a year…..yahoo used to allow all sorts of things. but due to ABUSIVE chatters…… and emailers… they now make u kill the WHOLE account if you want to remove mail….
do what was suggested…. just stop checking mail.. four months….. and it will be GONE..
tell your friends how to contact you tho……..I just deleted an alias off my main id, and remade it, you should be able to delete the email account, when my friend gets on i will ask him
Ok, if you want to talk about privacy i will start there, if you are online, right away you are losing your privacy, there’s so many ways to find info on someone, I am not telling you this so u can use it against others, im putting it out there so you will be INFORMED, knowledge is power, i used an exploit to get the admin from this sites info, and i made a post that he deleted, and ima have him edit it an put it back up, if i scare all you people with truth, well that’s sad, you want to know some of the things that go on, i am informing you, and also i do understand all too well why some of these things scare you, when most people are threatened, they will be afraid, because they are very ignorant of things, nothing wrong with that, because sometimes things do get out of hand and there can be “real” confrontations, maybe u could call some of my methods SHOCK therapy, lol, im not a bad guy, I have repeatedly said that i am here to help anyone whos being stalked or w/e , i got a lot of friends online, and im always helpin them out in anyway i can. Theres two kinds of people in this world, those who love me and those who hate me, i accept that, but be careful if you try to confront me, when all im doing is trying to help, netti you respect my opinion, theres some others here who don’t, im not gonna mention any names, *cough* oreo *cough*
