KislukMember
Yeah, I’ve been to guitartabs.cc myself a few weeks ago when looking up the Stairway to Heaven tab (first time in three years I brought out my guitar).
KislukMemberYeah. I used to take lessons and that’s how I found out how to play those songs and others. If I were to take it up again I’d surely learn by myself.
KislukMemberIn case you didn’t catch it, I’m in Dave’s class too and was one of the four getting in trouble. I sure hope that it’s nothing serious like what happened to David.
(Spark notes version of my dilemna)
KislukMemberYeah, I’m thinking about it. I’d probably sell my crappy one and get a new one (maybe even a cheap Les Paul!) and I’d have to get a new amp as well. Maybe once I get a car… and a laptop…
KislukMemberQuote:quote:Their name means ‘Lead Balloon’ in GermanIn case you’re wondering about how they decided on this name, it was from the Drummer from the (awesome) band, the Who, Keith Moon, who declined entry into the band and said it would go down like a lead balloon. Oh man, he was wrong.
KislukMemberI have a really crappy electric one that I don’t really play anymore. I used to be able to play a whole ton of songs but I forgot them all with the exceptions of really easy ones like Smoke on the Water and Iron Man.
KislukMemberSurprise! It’s my last name
KislukMemberAnyone hear him making fun of APC’s remake of ‘Imagine.’ Oh man, he nailed Maynard James Keenan’s dull voice right in the head.
KislukMemberYes but not often.
http://www.wplr.com 99.1 – Classic Rock with some newer stuff mixed in.
http://www.theriver1059.com/main.html 105.9 – The River 105.9 great mix mostly older stuff. They play Beatles A LOT.
http://www.wccc.com/ 106.9 – Hard Rock but they play a lot of older Ozzy and AC/DC. Plus one of their favorite bands to play is Alice in Chains.
KislukMemberNirvana is so overrated IMO. It’s a tie up between Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, but I thought about it and AiC has more songs that I like but Garden ain’t bad at all and Chris Cornell is a great singer but can’t compare to Layne Staley.
KislukMemberI can’t believe you like Nickelback Dave. (Personal joke I have with him. He didn’t even know the song Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd so I criticize his music knowledge immensely in class.)
