MemberSame thing happens to me sometimes when pop-up programs run on startup. Tell your friend to go to Start > Run > type in Msconfig and go to the Startup tab. There you will see all the programs that load on startup, and you’ll probably recognize the ones that don’t belong by their names, or their directories.

MemberOh. Well i am using Trillian 2.0 Pro and the Trillian Cordillera 2.11 skin. Is this what’s causing the problem? Can i just get a Trillian Cordillera 2.0 somewhere?

MemberK, thanks. I’ve checked out the MP3 Player plugin also, but it doesn’t support .m3u playlists.

MemberI’m still using ICQ 2000b. Because I think the new ones have ads and stuff. Can netmeeting still be launched, or do I have to use the newer versions of ICQ? Is there just some patch or something I can add to have this feature?

MemberAre there any skins for Trillian other than on their site? Because I dont have a login for it.
lazyturbo
MemberYeah. You have to delete the users while your connected to AOL, cuz they store your contacts there. Same problem with me, cuz I keep seperate lists on AIM and Trillian and they always merge everytime I connect cuz it downloads the contacts from the AOL servers.

MemberMy ICQ is fine once I change it to another skin. So I dont hafta uninstall it. But I really want to keep this skin, is there an actual solution to the problem?:p

MemberThe file is so big though compared to other players. I’m using Windows 98, and it says its only for 2000 and XP, can I still use it?

MemberI think that the Yahoo patch for Trillian Pro 2.0 is also available on Kazaa. Just in case there’s some of you who didn’t pay and are using the hacked version…hehehe;)

MemberWhen me and my brother chatted on Netmeeting, the same thing happened. His computer just shuts down after 20 minutes. But now when we use Logitech® IM Video Companion™, with AIM or MSN it doesnt do that, and the video quality is really good. Its different than using videoconferencing in MSN because it does it through your browsing and you get a really fast streaming video. You should just try downloading it from http://www.logitech.com/pub/companion/logitech/imvidenu.exe. because we dont even need broadband connections and our cameras are just cheap ones. I agree that Netmeeting is crap.

MemberI used to think that my computer and camera were bad quality when my videoconferencing was bad. But that was when I had used Netmeeting and Yahoo. Thanks to the Webcam section on this site I have found a new program called Logitech® IM Video Companion™. The video refresh rate is simply amazing, its like live. You can download it from Logitech at http://www.logitech.com/pub/companion/logitech/imvidenu.exe.
It integrates itself into my AIM, and it also works with MSN. My connection isnt even broadband, only 128kbps, and it works great. My brother uses this really cheap webcam that looks like pen, and I dont even notice and quality difference between his and my Logitech webcam when using the IM Video Companion, that I use to notice with Netmeeting. The only thing bad about it is that it doesnt come with voice, which is okay because AIM already has its own Talk feature. Its better to talk using AIM than Netmeeting because AIM keeps the audio alive and never cuts, it sacrifices a little quality, but its worth it for no lag and stops.
