MemberHey,
I’m also having the same problem in that I upgraded as it said and when I signed into the new messanger its now only coming up with some of my contact lists.
I’ve tried to find msn messanger 7.5 to reinstall it but its no where on the msn.co.uk site. Can anyone please advise how to get our contact list up.
Thanks in advance

Computers can run fine without updates or service packs, I wouldn’t hold your breath over it, honestly.
Hi Spike,
It was coming up as Service Pack 3 when I clicked on the automatic updates that are available to install, and even when I go onto the update website it was coming up there.
Will certainly take ur advice and not install it as I’ve just checked myself on my computer and I haven’t got it.
The only prob my friend has everytime she’s on the pc its coming up saying that her windows xp isn’t geniune when it is as she bought her pc a few years ago from Tiny pc. The only way I can think of resolving it is my installing Service Pack 2.
Thanks again for ur help

Will try installing the Service Pk 3 wi the office disk it requires and hopefully everything will b ok.

MemberHey Martin,
Yes Msn Messanger v7 does show up on my add/remove program list. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this version before as I upgraded from windows 98 to xp. I did have this problem when I was using 98 software tho.
I think it could be a redundant listing. Everytime I click the remove button its looking for the installation file for it.
Thanks for your help

I’m new here and I was wondering if you could help me please. I have two friends who use msn and currently can’t speak to anyone. They both use Windows Xp. One of my friends has reinstalled it and its still not working.
Has any one got any ideas wot we could do??
