I am not understanding what Yahoo has to do with IE… Have you recently installed a popup blocker? Some popup blockers will not allow any popups, not even new pages. If you have, try holding “Ctrl” when you goto open a new page.

MemberTry Flash Saver.
Quote:quote:What is Flash Saver?Flash Saver is the tool software to help you download swf files from web pages. It enables you to save all Flash animations from web pages, including Flash websites, Flash game, Flash MTV, Flash Movie, Flash advertisement, or what ever Flash files you find in the web. What you need to do is just a simple click! All Flash (swf files) will be downloaded from web browser to your local hard disk. You can classify downloaded flash files, change names, add comments, play, snapshot and more.
With Flash Saver, you can:
Download swf files directly: You may download the flash file directly if you know its URL (*.swf). Lots of BBS offer flash files url for downloading, it’s the most convenient and fast way to download such swf files.
Download swf files from cache: Flash items can be downloaded from the cache. This choice is always faster than the second choice.
Download swf files from webpage: Search Flash items in the web page you’re surfing. This is not recommended because it is a bit slower than the second mode and some Flash items can’t be found in some cases e.g. flash files built in Javascript, flash files built in encrypted webpage.
Download swf files from the popup windows directly: When you move your cursor on the flash file of a popup window, it will show Flash Saver Bar on this popup window, you can download the flash file by clicking ; you also can change Flash Saver settings by clicking .
Hope this helps.

Where was anyone insulted? The keyword was “free”.
Quote:quote:Originally posted by ShadowcrestZone Alarm is a more high-end package; IMSecure is a minimal feature. Why download a 20mb+ package when it’s for less then a meg at aimencrypt?
This was not mentioned until now. One problem with that, though. IMsecure (free)is only 2.51MB, not 20MB+. Still it is a good point, if you only want to secure AIM. IMSecure covers any messenger program.

MemberWhat version of Windows?
I had the same problem with Win98.
I found that if I went to Start/Programs/Roxio…. and picked which “item” I wanted to start, it would work fine.Sorry, but I have no idea why this happened. I just know that this was the only way to use it 99% of the time. (Even after unistalling/re-installing it.)
My problem now is that it won’t reconize mp3 files as mp3s!

I for one will still keep Firebird around for a while. I like that you don’t have to install it. Works real nice on my old backup computer (better than IE!).
