MemberThanks for the reply. That can only mean one thing then, he must be running 2 computers, because I see him online at forums, but he is showing idle status on his aim screen name.
thanks,MonsterBaby
Membershoot, I have one other question. do you know how long it takes for the away message to be applied? how long away from the computer before it comes on? thanks

this is something like I am talking about, I did a search and came up with the above link. it not only tracks when the email was opened (which I don’t care about), but it says it will show if an email has been forwarded.
I’m not sure if this is a good program or not, it’s not free, and before I try it or even bother with the free trial, I was wondering if there is something better out there.MonsterBaby
MemberI’m not sure i explained myself correctly. I understand if I RECEIVE an email, I can tell if others have been forwarded the copy too, i will see their addy’s as you have shown.
What I am saying is… IF I send an email to someone, say you for example. I send you an email that is private and I want it to be seen by YOUR eyes ONLY.
How can I tell if you turn around and forward my email over to someone else, say John Doe. I think there is a way to catch when someone forwards your mail on to unknown person that you don’t know. Do you know what I mean?MonsterBaby
MemberWhy does it give out the screen names of the most recent searches?
I don’t like that it does that.MonsterBaby
MemberThanks for responses, but what I really meant was could you check to see when another person other than yourself signed up their screen name.

MemberYep, I did that too, went to oldversion dowloaded an earlier version and it froze too!! boy was I pissed.
I posted in another thread what I did. I am using windows xp.. I used the system restore, I restored to an earlier date a few days before I did the darn upgrade, and now everything is back to normal for me.MonsterBaby
Memberno, but if you really need to talk to them, I guess you could sign on a new screen name. message them and see if you can work it out to get them to unblock your other screen name.

MemberThank you, thank for taking the time to help me.
In the meantime I was so darn frustrated before I saw your post, and I’m not that computer savvy, and I was at my wits end.
I’m running windows xp and then thought about system restore.
So I ran the restore, to restore computer back to yesterday.
And it worked!!!August 16, 2005 at 11:38 pm in reply to: New AIM 5.9.3861 Freezes at Default Messenger Selection #127760MonsterBaby
MemberYes, I am having this exact problem today.
I am no expert, but I believe it has something to do with the firewall.
I don’t want to turn my firewall off though, so I don’t know what to do. I want to UNinstall this, and go back to my older version if I can.MonsterBaby
Memberbaby1 and baby2 are linked together
baby1 blocks everybody
baby2 blocks nobody
when my buddy signs on it will show the sign on, on BOTH baby1 and baby2.
so the buddy will be on, and nothing changes on baby2, BUT on baby1 it will show this same buddy signing on AGAIN at different random times. why is it showing them signing on again on baby1 but not baby2… because they never left on baby2, they stayed steady on.
where is this sign on coming from and what does it mean?sorry for the late reply.
MonsterBaby
MemberThank you for the quick response.
Does anyone else think it could be anything else, or is this mostly likely
the answer?
