If we’re going to talk about stability, the word windows should NOT be in there unless it is following a ‘not’. Your best bet is to install RedHat 7.3 a dist. of linux and to setup a gaim client that will be there 24/7.

lol….apparently you have not heard of the RIAA’s Hitlist, they have bots that do this for them so they can focus their time on other things aka IM programs and IRC 🙂lol as an IRcop on two nets (Unknownz.net/OverDriveIRC.net) I find it hard to believe that any of these methods posted above would work on an IRCop.
A) we gline tons of proxies which we then use
B) even if you got our IPs for whatever reason you would want them, the damage you could do would be far less than of the consequences
C) there is a reason opers use host masking.I would hold your horses about the AIMencrypt certificate as it is not a _legit_ certificate and many buddies of mine have complained about problems such as being warned by ‘user’ when they aren’t talking to anyone. Aimencrypt.com did not actually get their certificate legit, and therefore god knows whats in them.
This isnt a windows problem, it is an AIM flooder that when is used in the chat room causes an overflow.
I believe its when each party has IMed the other one back, OR if they are on your buddylist I know in the future when you d-click on their SN to open up an IM box you will get their current Icon.

What are you guys on about? You enter the AOL chat with 8.0+ your first in there you look under the users in chat scroll window and you have eject user. Simple.

It won’t _break_ anything. I’ve knocked the tray onto the ground tons of times i simply open up the window, stick it back in and its as good as new. Simple.

Apparently you don’t know much about the RIAA/MPAA. They have mistakenly sent threatening e-mails to college professors because their last names where the same last names of popular Music sensations. Of course they can mainstream all 4 IM clients along with IRC and AOL Rooms. Are you forgetting who exactly the RIAA are? Do you realize how much power they have over ISPs and companies, not only to be allowed to monitor what ppl do, but to then use that evidence against them..

Um…where have you been….OF COURSE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THEM LOOKING AT IMs where do you reckon they will catch users talking about piracy of software….telephatically? Instant messaging programs are the #1 way the RIAA, MPAA, and the rest of these corporations get tipped off. Never the less I can always claim that I was remotely being controlled (botted) by someone and _I_ was not downloading/doing anything, but with an IM log…What am I gonna claim? Oh and the RIAA and FBI are two different things. And although we MIGHT be getting a bit off topic, this is the main reason you want encryption, so prying eyes dont ease drop on things they arent supose to be ease dropping on.
