MemberThe only firewall you are running is the Windows XP firewall? I am wondering, if you have had the chance… What would you rate the new Y!Tunnel program?
If you are running on proxies for Y!Tunnel, is there settings for the proxies in the preferences of Y!Tunnel and is your Yahoo! Messenger set to use proxies?

MemberI have a program. It’s called The Watcher. If you are interested use the mail icon above to send me an email, I will give you more information on what can be done with it… I don’t think it’s a good idea though. Just like them she will feel really really violated! No reason to pay for the little program nor put anything harmfull into your system (i.e. keylogger) in the process… That’s not good!

MemberI am on 24/7. When I don’t feel like talking or I am not around to talk the IM’s just build up, no away message. As far as the build up of these so called “morons” well… I don’t let them build up. What I do is meet smart people and talk to them and try to help who I can avoiding them from adding me or me adding them. Sometimes I kick myself in the ass but it’s okay. I just recently had a list too large and didn’t want to hurt feelings so, silently, I changed names and sent out a couple emails. Now I have a buddy list of about 6 people and I don’t have to worry about avoiding anyone! Some may call me a prick for that but myself think of it as being polite 🙂

MemberThat is what I was getting at… People are interested in alot of music but alot of movies too! If there was a movie section I am sure it would be used, I myself would use it. How about others?

MemberThat’s all the error message sais is “We were unable to start a conversation with [contact]…? I assume this shows up inside the chat window rather than a pop up error message? Can you try using a different account to see if the account has some kind of problem? Just for starts…
Seth
Memberyea , sign in on Yahoo! Messenger with one account and go to http://chat.yahoo.com/ and log into java chat with a different account. You can also try using a different chat client, such as YahELite wich can be downloaded at http://www.badsyntax.com/deep/yahelite/

MemberSorry, Shifter. I should have payed attention! I won’t post my link anymore as it does contain many programs containing a key code or “key generator.” I also removed my link from my profile. Sorry again.
Seth
MemberIn your firewall configuration… If you know how to get to it… Look for the ports and be sure you have your port 80 tcp/udp protocols open. otherwise use your router configurations options. This way you can send and recieve peer to peer data on the http protocol.

MemberNot to butt in, but… I am on detn8r’s side. If you look at my post here, https://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7868 you will see that I had to refer to who I was quoting. I had no way of putting the person i was going to quote beside
->quote:<- so the post ended up like this…Code:quote:George Bush
rather than…
quote: george bush
the quote here
🙂
Seth
MemberThat is great!
Here is what I immediately put up out of the words.
Quote:quote:George Bush
Side… By Side, generations fear we destroyed the world. Above all Sadam Hussein must never again …. We’ve accomplished much and there can be further destruction ladies and gentlemen.Put that in there and listen to it!
Forgot to add the laugh 😎

MemberThanks. We will see what happens with it. I know after this one I am going to do an A.P.C one as well. My idea with that is to make each of their symbols represent something and have the roll over effects. I hope it will work out, that would be sweet!

MemberMSN created msn messenger 6.1, check it out at http://messenger.msn.com/. I am not really shure, but upgrading may help you fix your problems. Pretty sure they did something like this back when 4.7 was out.

MemberThe gist of all of this is basically Yahoo!’s cgi bin is not throwing out the correct links to display images people upload to the servers for their profiles. To prove this is
why the images are not showing : http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/c1f125ad/bc/Yahoo%21+Photo+Album/Steve+Pic—10.jpg?pfPdTx_A6C4XDMrE is the actual image url to the broken picture… When Steve uploads his picture it spits out the wrong link creating a broken image. Now, yes this will only happen to the profiles and it wont effect the photo album’s pictures ect. If you try going to the url you will see it is just an invalid Yahoo! web page. Nothing you can do, Yahoo! will have to solve this one when they can.
