Did you code the OSCAR component in this? ASOscar… I use OscSock by Robbie Saunders.

Probably some adware or spyware. Run http://www.lavasoft.com‘s Adware/Spyware scan utility called Ad-Aware. You’d be suprised how much malicious software you really have on you’re computer. 😉
I heard it was really bad and wasn’t worth paying for. Correct me if I’m wrong … ? I heard lots of friends (and critics!) say that.
Get a packet logger like Ethereal and examine the getbuddies protocol message. If you’re too lazy to do that, reinstall MSN.
Netmeeting should be good. But if the stuff was coming out well on his side, it might be you’re computer.
