Bye bye to the songies.
ShadowcrestMemberYou use aliasing. You can’t directly create a username with a special-character through Yahoo!’s website.
I’m such a bright spark.
ShadowcrestMemberIt’s probably just a screw-up with the YIM protocol. It’ll ‘probly be solved with the next YIM version.

Incorrect. You DO NOT use the following:
-Sonork Instant Messenger
-Shadow-IM
-DevilMessageShadowcrestMemberOr maybe everyone is doing typos and they meant to say lata instead of lala; lata = later. As in, see you later.
ShadowcrestMemberNot all of the four letter screennames are gone. I have a four char. And my friend has a 3 char.

Well dosen’t AOL have that new AIM TOS? I saw something like it on their AIM.com website. Said something about an account not in use over 60 days becomes free again.Yes, but this only goes for screennames registered after January 2004.
ShadowcrestMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by matttrenSTUPID STUPID STUPID!! Let me tell you a secret about the 200 Buddy Restriction. IT’S IN THE SERVER! Think about it, if you sign on your screen name at whatever location your buddy list is always there. Thus the memory is not on your computer, it’s on the AIM server. If you want sign up another screen name and link, or DELETE SOME PEOPLE!
Think about that there is over 100,000,000 (100 MILLION) AIM screen names out there. Now if they didn’t have restrictions on how much data (or number of screen names stored), that would get way too crazy, that is a LOT of data.
My suggestion to you, trim your buddy list! You could also sign up another screen name for a different use. For instance I have one screen for my friends, and people I know in real life; and another for just online people.
I can not emphize enough for you to TRIM YOUR BL. Back-up your buddy list, date it, save it somewhere, then go through your BL and delete everyone you haven’t seen online in a while, the people you don’t talk to, those annoying people who have five different screen names, people who blocked you, ex girlfriends, the hoes that hurt you, okay let’s get back to the point. I think you get it.
A secret? Everyone knows that.
And you’re post is rendered useless by what den8tor posted 😉ShadowcrestMemberGo download AIM 3.0 somewhere.
ShadowcrestMemberDDoS = Distributed Denial of Service Attack 😉
I know what they mean. I type them both so often (I’m the webmaster of a website which has a few enemies, http://www.adrenalineweb.net)
I get them messed up.ShadowcrestMemberhttp:// thingy? 😉 That would be URL, miss.
ShadowcrestMemberWhat happened was, our teacher went out of the classroom. I went to print a document out that I needed for a project (was on the net). And then she came back and freaked out because someone had probably told her that DoS was really … the black screen of death
Quote:quote:Originally posted by JeffI still think this story sounds fishy. How would they know that you ran netstat? It’s not like he ran netsend and everyone got a message (an obvious tip-off).
ShadowcrestMemberThey did have a little do’s and dont’s thingy. And no, I’m not in High School. I will leave what grade I am in a secret.
They’re also restricting me from the mobile lab they have now. Bunches of dell laptops running on a WiFi. I asked if I could use one, and my teacher said I was “a hazard to the school’s security”. What security?
The machines are totally open. No restrictions on them. DoS is available, network settings are available… I sit at my desk and watch the other kids on their mobile laptops and the teacher looks at the screen(s) in amazement. Wow, a powerpoint presentation. Everyone is so entranced by the damned laptops. BIG DEAL.
I swear to god, I ask if I can have a job as their network security for a nice sum of money. My assistant princapal wouldn’t even listen to why I did the command.
My school system needs some serious changes.
ShadowcrestMemberMm, Sushi.

That’s how you get buttraped by some 40 year old sicko.
By analyzing the non capitalization of this post, the straight-up-ness of this post, her screen name, and the quality of her posts, I have analyzed she is a 12 year old AOL-er. 🙂
ShadowcrestMemberAh.
