You need a font fader. You can get a simple one here, but you might want to search google for a better one.
slackertildeathMembermilos456, was that all one program? Because I seriously doubt that. I know that’s possible using a couple different programs.
For example: using Profilespy to get the ip of the people looking at your AIM profile and then using a program like NeoTrace to find their location on a map based on their ip.
slackertildeathMemberYou need to put it as part of a theme. If you don’t know how to make your own theme, read this
slackertildeathMemberSorry, but there’s no way I know to make it transparent. However, it might be possible, because there are programs like DeadAIM that can make the buddy list transparent.
slackertildeathMemberWhat do you mean by opacity? If you’re wondering how to make it transparent, it can’t be done. If you mean how do you change the image itself, you need a theme with an IM window background picture.
slackertildeathMemberNo, you can’t warn someone to 100% on AIM with one click. To warn them a couple of times, you can just keep clicking the Warn button, but only up to 35%. However, there are programs available that allow you to warn people up to 100%.
slackertildeathMemberalana0601, if enough people sign it and it’s sent to AIM, they might take Wild Tangent software out of AIM, solving the problem.
slackertildeathMemberYeah, i figured some part of my explaination was off.
slackertildeathMemberPort – a 16-bit number (the allowed range being 1 through 65535) used by the TCP and UDP protocols. Ports are used to address applications (services) that run on a computer.
Basically, a port is where information goes into and out of a computer. It is defined by a number 1 – 65535, and is not a physical port, so you can’t say exactly “where” they are. For example, port 5190 is the port AIM uses to send messages. The information (the messages) you type into AIM leaves your computer through port 5190. Then the messages enter your friend’s computer on port 5190.
The reason the firewall needs to be set up is that the firewall closes all ports, so it is neccesary to open the port so AIM can send the messages.
slackertildeathMemberYou need to download the installation program off the website, then run it on your computer. It will install the spellchecker.
slackertildeathMemberIt says at the website:
New Features in AIM 5.5
Live Video IM
Now you can see and hear your buddies with Live Video IM. All you need is a webcam, microphone, and a broadband connection.
Note: Live Video IM requires a PC running Windows XP, webcam, and microphone. Performance is better over a broadband connection or Local Area Network. You may not be able to connect to your buddies if you or they are behind a firewall.Screen Name Linking
Do you have more than one Screen Name? Now you can sign onto AIM once, and have all of your Screen Names appear online. Send and receive IMs from any of your Screen Names. View all of your buddy lists. Make your linked Screen Names appear on or offline with a single click.slackertildeathMemberWell, it still might just be something to do with her college network if it didn’t happen prior to her going to college, so there might not be anything you can do about it.
The fact that you switched to XP shouldn’t be a problem seeing as you have the same version of AIM anyway.
DC working on MSNMSGR doesn’t really mean anything, because it connects on a different port then AIM.slackertildeathMemberIt’s possible that it has something to do with her college network,
Does this happen when you direct connect with other people? Does this happen to her when she direct connects with other people?slackertildeathMemberi think you can get a spell check for AIM here
slackertildeathMemberGo here:
http://www.buddypicture.net/remove.htm
It explains how to remove it there. -
